Well it /is/ uncensored and in person... Most universities have a lot of events for freshmen, so you should be ok. I would recommend meeting people in your dorm as well.
And yes, I know 4? homeschoolers at mine, 2 are now dating so you never know what can happen I guess

EDGY LMBE forums. I'll try to do that, although there's no telling if we'll get along.
xD That's more than I know, I've barely met anyone in my new neighborhood.
I'm not sure edgy is the correct word for it but Are you already done high school?
Nimbus Isle was like the biggest you could get and was really fun. I think Forbidden Valley might have had a space but it was depressing. Can't remember Gnarled Forest either really On my Numbus Isle I set up a platform like 200 feet above my property you could run around on... no idea why I did that but it was epic Wanted to make like a throne room up there but never got the time. I think they might nearly be up to working combat on the servers? Not sure. Four years ago they had every single item equipable, but you could just jetpack around, no interaction with minibuilds and the like.
Looking back at it, the custom Millenium falcon was so bad but I made like 3 different versions of it My favorite part was how I used those snap connector pieces and some trans blue pieces to make the back thrusters. Otherwise it was pretty boxy. I mean, I could probably sit down an play with minifigures and build random stuff but it would feel pretty stupid
I got most of the idea from some random Flickr picture, but I think I modified a decent bit. I had some decent LEGO photography back in the day, I think my camera finally bit the dust last week after I took it out to take pictures of the forest in the rain, unfortunately. At least my iPhone camera is decent.

Wow, I didn't know there were even bigger LEGO Universe Properties that you could build on. That would've been really cool to check out. Hopefully you can do that again when LU gets rebooted again. That's awesome. It'll almost feel like the actual game again. Oh yeah, it looked so desolate four years ago.
Well, at least you improved it over time, even though it might not look quite like the Millenium Falcon. Nice. That sounds pretty clever to make those thrusters. At least for our age. I miss those childhood days.
Ah, very nice. I still use my cell phone camera to take pictures since it's the best camera I've got.
Yes, I think Avant Gardens had two, Nimbus Station either one or two, Gnarled and Forbidden each one, and I think that was it. Not sure how much LU I'll play if everything gets back to what it once was, but I'll have to check it out a little - I think I can probably attribute my continued interest in LEGO to LU (which is what took me to the MBs). Or maybe I would have ended up on the MBs anyway from the galleries... but it was the LEGO Universe gallery I primarily used. Either way it all links back to LU.
I'd like to make a custom Millenium Falcon someday as homage to my original MOCs, maybe trick it out so it only has a similar general shape to the original. Who knows if I'll ever get around to that, though.
Yesterday I started going through the pieces I need to clean. Do you have any expertise on cleaning LEGO? I figure I'll let the pieces soak for a while then scrub them off. The really nasty pieces might need some rubbing alcohol.
I like to incorporate technic into builds as support structures, but I can't say I've done much that's 100% technic. I'd like to get more into trains in the future as well, I have a small track but nowhere to run a loop because I don't want it on the floor. Could rig something with my shelves but that's too much of a bother.
I had a productive meeting yesterday, need to run a bunch of numerical stuff and do some mathematical analyses on this model system to see the dynamics. Today I met with another professor and it seems like I could be able to do some coronavirus research as a senior statistics thesis, which is very exciting. AP has to help me learn the statistics I don't know

I'm not really an expert, but I do have seen and learned some tricks. I like to use a colander or one of those flour sifter bowls to hold LEGO pieces and wash them in some soap and water to clean them. For pieces that have all of the little nooks and crannies, you can use a soft toothbrush get in there to brush off the dust. Rubbing alcohol will probably work too, but I haven't tried that yet. Just make sure to sort out pieces with stickers and don't put them in liquid. Printed parts should be fine, but go gently so you don't scratch it off. Also avoid acetone and WD-40 for cleaning, at least that's what I've heard from others.
Ah, I understand. Technic can be quite a tricky system to implement, especially since it's coordinate system can hard to integrate. That makes sense. I like trains as well, but they can be hard to wire up for smaller trains.
Awesome. Sounds like good progress on your work. Ooh, that will be wonderful. Who knows, maybe your thesis will save the world. Ah, gotcha, is AP into the same subjects as you are?
That's pretty much what I've heard, I'd love to use a dishwasher but it gets too hot, unfortunately. Thankfully I have a bunch of tooth brushes, should be all good.
I kind of want some of the OG electric rail trains, honestly
Let's hope I can make a contribution And AP is industrial engineer, so there is a decent amount of crossover between that and applied math
