Perhaps it was not really years and time is simply an illusion. Either way, you've no idea how pleasantly surprised I was when I saw your username. How've you been?
I'm not sure if I should be surprised or not that you remember me, I suppose I wasn't particularly forgettable I have been well, I am going in to my final year of undergraduate, and still have a questionable obsession with LEGO. And I am also evidently bored in quarantine
Because people (read: you) keep sneaking into my house to build secret rooms and hide dangerous objects! The dragon can stay, I think; we just need to make sure it's included on the listing.
What!! Dangerous objects? I would never put something in your house that I couldn't control. Don't move house just cause of me. YOU ARE NOT SELLING MY DRAGON WITH YOUR HOUSE!!
Regardless of safety, I would say I'm not particularly comfortable with anyone putting anything in my house without my knowledge. Call it a pet peeve or something. It's not "House for sale! Featuring: Actual dragon may visit secret room!"; more like "House for sale! Warning: Actual dragon may visit secret room!"
Lowkey I would be more likely to use LDD if it was like LEGO Universe building... I loved the properties feature but never had the time to go ham with it and build cool stuff. On that line, I need to see how the fan-made servers are doing.
When I was like 8-9 and had a very small LEGO collection (actually why not attach a picture... this is a picture of a picture...) I would mix my Harry Potter, Star Wars, and Indiana Jones stuff to enact some sort of wild plot. Good entertainment for the only child homeschooler Most of my stuff then was Racers or Creator, I was just then moving into the themed stuff. Note the homemade millenium falcon and the weird Hogwarts building
I'd like to build some spaceships eventually, if I actually finish the organizational component this summer I'll start working on my dragon, he is just a head currently:
and bricklink has some good prices, it impresses me

Ah, very interesting. I'd love to go back into LEGO Universe and build. Since I only had the free version, I could only go into Avant Gardens and my build property, so I did a ton of building in my build property. Hopefully those fan-made servers are doing well.
Awesome. I love the variety of the sets you have. I guess you could have Indiana Jones escape some bad guys in the custom Millennium Falcon. Sounds like something Harrison Ford would do. Ah yes, classic days of being a kid and just having fun with random LEGO creations without caring of theme or set. I wish I could build like that again.
That is an awesome dragon head. I like how you used the katanas as part of the dragon's hair. I also like how you took the picture with the shadow in the back.
Nimbus Isle was like the biggest you could get and was really fun. I think Forbidden Valley might have had a space but it was depressing. Can't remember Gnarled Forest either really On my Numbus Isle I set up a platform like 200 feet above my property you could run around on... no idea why I did that but it was epic Wanted to make like a throne room up there but never got the time. I think they might nearly be up to working combat on the servers? Not sure. Four years ago they had every single item equipable, but you could just jetpack around, no interaction with minibuilds and the like.
Looking back at it, the custom Millenium falcon was so bad but I made like 3 different versions of it My favorite part was how I used those snap connector pieces and some trans blue pieces to make the back thrusters. Otherwise it was pretty boxy. I mean, I could probably sit down an play with minifigures and build random stuff but it would feel pretty stupid
I got most of the idea from some random Flickr picture, but I think I modified a decent bit. I had some decent LEGO photography back in the day, I think my camera finally bit the dust last week after I took it out to take pictures of the forest in the rain, unfortunately. At least my iPhone camera is decent.
It was difficult to get the pieces out of there and to also see what was in the trays. Good in theory but not in practice Now I'm just mass sorting everything and will worry about the MOCs when I get there I never get new sets so I'm unsure what LEGO is doing anymore... I may get the Batmobile however, I think of it often. Yesterday I was able to get a bunch of technic pieces into my drawers so I can actually figure out what's going on... I had way too many bags of individual technic pieces
The math major is insane enough to tackle these things I mean if you're not doing anything probabilistic R doesn't have too much applicability to what you're doing. Tomorrow I'll be meeting with my advisor and will have my next task. I have been enjoying my 2 days off The life of a research mathematician is very exciting apparently

That makes sense. Too tight of a space for storage of pieces. That's a good idea. I see. LEGO has been getting into some interesting LEGO themes and ideas now, but some of the new stuff is pretty cool too. Awesome. Do you work much with Technic?
Ah, I see. Lots of things in math go over my head, I'll admit. That makes sense. Nice. I'm glad you got to have fun despite only having 2 days off. To an extent it seems exciting, assuming you've done the math right.
Yesterday I started going through the pieces I need to clean. Do you have any expertise on cleaning LEGO? I figure I'll let the pieces soak for a while then scrub them off. The really nasty pieces might need some rubbing alcohol.
I like to incorporate technic into builds as support structures, but I can't say I've done much that's 100% technic. I'd like to get more into trains in the future as well, I have a small track but nowhere to run a loop because I don't want it on the floor. Could rig something with my shelves but that's too much of a bother.
I had a productive meeting yesterday, need to run a bunch of numerical stuff and do some mathematical analyses on this model system to see the dynamics. Today I met with another professor and it seems like I could be able to do some coronavirus research as a senior statistics thesis, which is very exciting. AP has to help me learn the statistics I don't know
