I responded to this earlier, but the internet cut out, so it didn't happen.
Yep, my brother got a well-paying job pretty quickly, but that might just be because he's like really smart and stuff and got good grades from an academically rigorous college. I'm glad engineering has a lot of jobs too.
How exactly does math without numbers work? Also, actuaries . . . they do complicated stuffs. It all has to do with probabilities, but they work in many different sectors. A lot work with insurance companies to determine the rates, either directly for them, or in a consulting firm. My dad works at a consulting firm, but he works on pension plans; he figures out the probabilities of how long someone's going to live and lump sum amounts vs. paying out over time sort of stuff. I could give you more details if you want, but I'd have to remember first.
I think that mechanical engineering would be a pretty good fit, but I'm not sure. I hope it would be. Also, it's not particularly hard being colorblind because I've lived with it my whole life (except for the jobs I can't have ) but sunsets are just sad.
My internet always cuts out. Relatable.
I know, it's so annoying, right? And that was an especially long reply that just disappeared. The wonders of the Internet *sigh*
Ah, I see. It makes sense, then, that you don't have the same sort of school system that we do. The strands (it reminds me of the "cones" in the Foreign Service here) sound like a fairly good idea except for people that have absolutely no idea what they want to do. You see, I have varying interests, and I might switch from one major to another in college (or university, depending on what term you use).
Ah, I see. I guess the year I broke like all the bones in my arm would be a bad year for me. It's true, 2020 is just horrible for everyone.
Well, there's actually a strand too for people who still have no idea as to what career they'd want to pursue. The two extra years in high school, let alone the strands, was only implemented 7 years ago (I think) and wasn't really met with that good of a reception if you'll ask me. It may even change in the near future.
I see. Although my interest is in film, I'm considering taking an advertisement-related course first as it's very hard to find film school in here and I may find more jobs in advertising and stuff when I finish college than when I finish film school, despite knowing a screenwriter here personally.
What year was that? It really is. I'm hoping that once the pandemic is over (and assuming that no second or third wave of COVID will emerge), things will be much better, even if our lifestyle afterwards will inevitably be very different now.
Ah, I see. I can understand why people weren't happy with two more years of high school. I know it's quite easy to switch majors in college, but is it more difficult to switch strands?
Ah, I see. That sounds like quite a bit of school, but film writing and stuff sounds very interesting! I'm just not doing it because I'd be bad at it.
I would say that was eight to ten years ago, so I dunno. Probably like 2012. *Gasp* it's a four-year cycle! And we're all hoping that things get better.

That's alright.
That makes sense. I'm sure he studied very well at school. Same with me. Hopefully we find good job opportunities.
Proofs, lots of proofs. Everything is a variable and feels like you're translating Egyptian hieroglyphs. Ah, probabilities. That's one of my math weaknesses. That's alright. I'm sure I probably won't understand the math behind it.
I guess you'll find out when you get there. True. Oh, that's unfortunate. Those sunsets don't look too colorful?
Yeah, he was the genius child until I came along and is doing really well. The thing is, he was exceptionally great at computer science, and I'm just nominally great at a bunch of wildly different things.
Ah, I see. I remember proofs, I do. I didn't like them overly much, but then I liked them more than anyone else in my class. And yes, everything they do is basically probabilities and uses this one little niche of calculus. Both my parents are math majors and forgot all the other calculus besides what they needed to know for work.
I guess so. No, sunsets just are kind of gray, you know? Because with the type of colorblindness (well, Color Vision Deficiency) that I have, I really can't see reds, and pinks are just gray looking. So I can pretty much see some yellow in a bunch of gray, which is less pretty than mid-day with some yellow in a bunch of blue.
Ehh... been trying to sort through some emotional stuff, getting through finals week and drawing and writing when I have the time and energy for it. I just want all my assignments to be done already. >.> Anything new with you?
Ah good, well welcome (Of course. )
Aw, you're so close to being done though! :3 Soon it'll be summer ^-^ Um, just school and realizing exactly how much coronavirus is messing everything up xp
I am! Just a little mooorrreee...! OvO Oh, right, you can't dance or go to school. xP
It really is. The moment I actually get happy, it gets ruined as well afterwards. But enough about this; it's not really a good topic to discuss here anyway.
I went through a long period of time like that. xP Good idea. Uhh... have you found any fun things to do with your quarantine time?
Maybe the writers will try to go into what happened to his mom and/or give him a love interest? I don't know. xD
That will be awesome. I actually don't know for sure if the season will focus on Cole, but if he's on the front of the boxes for the next season of sets, certainly he must be significant.
Season 13 plot: they try to make it look like he dies again.
I saw those, too! I remember watching 102 Dalmatians over and over again because we had it on DVD, and I had a hard time understanding how that plot was connected to the first movie.
Same with me! They were really entertaining. Apparently, Cruella De Vil got out of jail and thought she could live a normal life, and then she turned back to villainy.
OK I got that but like, were the three puppies from the dalmatian family from the first movie, or were they just random puppies this lady happens to have? I haven't seen that movie in so long, I need to watch it again... xD
