Good. Because I'd be super uncomfortable if there were a secret room in my house that I had now way to get to. I mean, I pretty uncomfortable now, since I JUST FOUND OUT ABOUT IT, but at least we'll be able to get in and I'll know what's going on now.
. . . Eh hem. Yes. No reason to fear. Hehe. Good ol Dill's got it all under control.
*Sighs and softly places head against wall.* Sure. Yeah.
I really feel like it's about to get worse. I kinda predicted that it would be a bad year but not this horrible. I do think it's a 20/20 vision on what may come soon tho.
You've had some pretty bad years before, though, right? If you can get through those, you can get through this one.
But things have been consistently worsening, along with some factors I can't mention here. It's been doom and gloom for me for a long time already.
True. Finally, someone commends Fat Thor. I think that's the best arc so far they've given him. Maybe he's too comedic at times but that's the point. Just like in Ragnarok, he's trying to hide his pain through laughter and it just got worse in Endgame since he hasn't fully been able to get over his failure for five years.
Oh man, our theater in my first viewing was electric (no pun intended) when that happened. I nearly had that spoiled to me thanks to the leaks that were released a week ago. The only spoiler I got was Cap's shield getting destroyed by Thanos, which I'm still sorta mad about. Although no one in my next four viewings applauded during the Portals scene, there were always gasps and woah's when Cap wielded Mjolnir, including a light applause during my fourth viewing.
It bored the heck out of me, the same way it did when I was 7. For some reason tho I was into it a little bit during my MCU marathon before Endgame last year and thought although it was mostly mediocre, it was a decent watch. Flash forward to some weeks ago when I rewatched it and it took me two days to complete it cause I nearly fell asleep watching it, and I feel bad for saying that tbh.
Thor is my favourite of the movie Avengers and it was a really interesting to watch such a different take on him, even though he still had a lot of funny lines and scenes.
It was the same in my cinema. I’ve never sat in a cinema before and had an audience go kinda crazy over every single thing. Endgame truly was one of those once in a life time, you had to be there kind of deals. I mean, it’s great at home as well but the feeling of seeing it on the big screen with the rest of the audience that’s in just as much amazement as yourself was a very special thing. =P
Unfortunately for me have a bad history with finding out major story details the day before I watch the movie in the cinema. For example, the day before I watched Endgame I found out both Tony and Nat died. It destroyed me (although I still cried when Tony died). Same with Star Wars TFA. I found out about Kylo’s identity and Han’s death. I honestly don’t go near the internet for about a week until I see a movie now. xD
It is a very boring film, don’t feel bad about it. =P I admit, watching as a teen rather than a kid I had a greater appreciation for it and I understood a whole lot more about what was actually going on, but it’s still at the bottom of the MCU films for me.
Thor became one of my more respected Avengers after Ragnarok's reinvention of the character.
Yes, that's very true. The most I can do at home is quietly applaud to those certain scenes. xD
I'm sorry about that. For TFA, I intentionally looked for spoilers on the morning of its opening day here and there were quite a lot already. Imagine doing that when you were also gonna see it later that same day. xD As for Infinity War and Endgame, they're very big here and avoiding spoilers really were a big deal, to the point that unfriending or blocking are options if someone spoils it to you. I didn't see Infinity War until its first Saturday (three days after its release here) but I got spoiled at school that 16 relative characters died, including Loki and "one of the GOTG characters" as they said the day after its release. I even got spoiled that the ending was shot here at our place. Avoiding Endgame spoilers was as intense as IW as they already came out early in the morning (first showings here started as early as 6 in the morning), but I'm glad I mostly came in clean.
Pretty much the same for me. As much as it's fun to rewatch the entire Infinity Saga, I don't wanna skip a single film but The Incredible Hulk is really hard for me to get through. Captain Marvel was boring too but for some reason, I'd rather go with that than see The Incredible Hulk again.
Thanks, man. It's gonna be bittersweet when it happens knowing that around a month worth of classes, let alone our last bonding together as friends, were taken away from us and that right after our graduation day, some of us will be transferring already. It's so tough.
I didn’t even think about that aspect of it (cuz I was homeschooled). I’m really sorry man. Do plan on keeping in touch with many people?
It's alright, I understand.
I still do but it's hard when there's this thought of them holding me back that they are either fake people or totally hating on you in secret. I'm not even an interesting dude to talk with irl in the first place.
True. Although our Thanksgiving dinner and graduation day were moved, it's gonna be "nothing" as they're basically two days of meeting up again and then drifting apart right after. I mean, I have two more years in high school but those two years are very different from the first four years of HS here in my place, so some may even transfer schools by then (I'm one of them). This year has been too tough for everyone, probably even worse than 2016.
Hm, where do you live? I don't understand how after four years of high school you can have two more years of high school, unless it's the dual enrollment type at a community college to get an Associate's degree.
My memory might be short, but what exactly was wrong with 2016?
I live in the Philippines. In here, your first four years of high school are just the normal high school life to live. Your next two years, however, are kinda different. You have to take these strands (six to choose from) that complement your desired career choice and/or course to be taken up in college. If you wanna be a doctor, you're gonna have to take a science-related strand; if you wanna be a lawyer, you're gonna have to take a humanities-related strand. All these strands have some subjects in common but what sets them apart is their special subjects, so you won't be seeing an Economics subject taken by anyone who takes a science-related strand but you're definitely gonna take the same math subject. It's complicated, I know.
It's a rather subjective judgment but lots of bad stuff happened to me. Basically bad luck. 2020 is replicating it except that everyone is experiencing the same bad stuff.
Well, in the school I plan to transfer to, I heard most of the peeps there speak English mainly, so that's good enough for me. Technically there are lots of those guys in my school but the classes for us scholars are very different, so majority of those peeps aren't that good in English. xD
Cool. Oh I see. XD
Yeah. xD That's very much why I rarely recite in class. Basically, I get bullied because of that.
Ah, that's understandable. Most of Computer Science seems to be working at an office and staring at the screen. Yep, there's a lot of engineering jobs.
Very nice. You're definitely gonna need that math to do these classes. Eventually you'll be applying math without numbers. Ooh, very cool. Sounds like it will definitely be a lot of math, which I think you'll enjoy.
I see. I'll definitely depend on the job. Mechanical engineering seems to be a lot of math, and maybe some simulations as well, and I don't know if they'll require colors. As for electrical and computer engineering, colors are kind of important since you have to read the colors of the resistors, and determine the colors of a screen.
Yep, that's what my brother does all day. Although I do seem to be doing that a lot too, nowadays. Anyway, I was talking about there being a lot of jobs in computer science (as a growing field) but I'm sure there are quite a few in engineering too.
I'm not sure about math without numbers, but okay. I do like me some maths! Do you happen to know what an actuary does?
Yeah, that's why I was thinking about mechanical engineering instead of others that have the potential to not let colorblind people do stuffs. I'm glad you can see colors!
Ah, I see. I guess you kind of know what it's like already. Ah, right. Computer Science has lots of jobs as well, especially for machine learning and big data. Engineering in general has a lot of jobs.
Yeah, kind of. The math I was doing for the past few months has been math without numbers. I just did a simple google search and it tells me they determine the financial status of a company or something like that? Is that accurate? If it is, it definitely requires a lot of math, math that I probably don't know of.
I haven't taken any mechanical engineering classes, but it seems like a good fit for you. Thanks! I know it can be hard to do some things when you are colorblind, but I hope despite all of that you will get the same opportunities as everyone else.
That's nice. What does a typical day at home look like?
I get up at 8 and feed cows till about 9 or so then come home for food, then start school at 11 do school to about 2 on avaradge then free time that I color draw do clay and LMBE in and then farm work at 6 till bought 7 then dinner and some more free time then we have family time 9 to 9 thirty then da and us older kids usually watch a movie then bed at 11.
Ah, I see. Sounds like quite a busy day, but pretty cool how you have everything pretty much planned out. Can some days get harder than usual?
