Yeah, there’s definitely a certain feeling you get when you watch The Avengers. It was the first time where the characters actually came together, so it’ll always be special. I the reason I like Endgame so much is for two reasons. 1. Fat Thor and 2. Cap and Mjolnir. Freaked out when I saw Cap with Mjolnir. xD What about the Incredible Hulk? Full of drama that one. =P
True. Finally, someone commends Fat Thor. I think that's the best arc so far they've given him. Maybe he's too comedic at times but that's the point. Just like in Ragnarok, he's trying to hide his pain through laughter and it just got worse in Endgame since he hasn't fully been able to get over his failure for five years.
Oh man, our theater in my first viewing was electric (no pun intended) when that happened. I nearly had that spoiled to me thanks to the leaks that were released a week ago. The only spoiler I got was Cap's shield getting destroyed by Thanos, which I'm still sorta mad about. Although no one in my next four viewings applauded during the Portals scene, there were always gasps and woah's when Cap wielded Mjolnir, including a light applause during my fourth viewing.
It bored the heck out of me, the same way it did when I was 7. For some reason tho I was into it a little bit during my MCU marathon before Endgame last year and thought although it was mostly mediocre, it was a decent watch. Flash forward to some weeks ago when I rewatched it and it took me two days to complete it cause I nearly fell asleep watching it, and I feel bad for saying that tbh.
Thor is my favourite of the movie Avengers and it was a really interesting to watch such a different take on him, even though he still had a lot of funny lines and scenes.
It was the same in my cinema. I’ve never sat in a cinema before and had an audience go kinda crazy over every single thing. Endgame truly was one of those once in a life time, you had to be there kind of deals. I mean, it’s great at home as well but the feeling of seeing it on the big screen with the rest of the audience that’s in just as much amazement as yourself was a very special thing. =P
Unfortunately for me have a bad history with finding out major story details the day before I watch the movie in the cinema. For example, the day before I watched Endgame I found out both Tony and Nat died. It destroyed me (although I still cried when Tony died). Same with Star Wars TFA. I found out about Kylo’s identity and Han’s death. I honestly don’t go near the internet for about a week until I see a movie now. xD
It is a very boring film, don’t feel bad about it. =P I admit, watching as a teen rather than a kid I had a greater appreciation for it and I understood a whole lot more about what was actually going on, but it’s still at the bottom of the MCU films for me.
Oh wow, that’s pretty crazy! Congrats on your graduation day, even if it wasn’t actually a graduation day. Hopefully this whole thing will be over sooner than later.
Thanks, man. It's gonna be bittersweet when it happens knowing that around a month worth of classes, let alone our last bonding together as friends, were taken away from us and that right after our graduation day, some of us will be transferring already. It's so tough.
I didn’t even think about that aspect of it (cuz I was homeschooled). I’m really sorry man. Do plan on keeping in touch with many people?
