The reason Real we are better: Our entire squad. We will start with the fowards.

Barcelona rely a lot on their superstars. Neymar, Suarez and Messi are good, yes, but as seen with Barcelona v Málaga, you can't win without them. If one, two, or all three of the MSN were injured or suspended, Barcelona would be looking to be as good as Villarreal. They would be a much better team if they had reasonable backup strikers. Looking at Barca's squad, they only have one other striker beside the MSN, which means they'll put midfielders up into the foward position, which can be costly for the team.

Real Madrid are much more prepared if one of the BBC gets injured. Lucas Vazaquez, Álvaro Morata and Isco have shown that they can fill the gaps of BBC almost perfectly. They're not as skilled, but good. Ronaldo would be one level above Messi if he could stop diving. He has far better control with the ball, and if he played in the midfield, I reckon he rack up more assists than anyone that ever played. Benzema doesn't rack up as many goals as he could, but he definitely does his job. Bale, well, all I have to say is he is fast. Could outrun Messi, Suarez and Neymar easily. That's why he's one of the best players today.

Onto the midfield.

Barcelona have Ivan Rakitic, Sergio Busquets, Arda Turan, Andres Iniesta... And that's about it. Andre Gomes and Denis Suarez aren't terrific, but they do the job. It would be a much better midfield if Xavi was there.

Real Madrid, in my opinion, aren't much better than Barcelona. Toni Kroos, in some ways, is an underrated player. He's fantastic with the ball, and provides important assists. Casemiro is okay. Modric, well, he needs no introduction. Isco, in my opinion, is vital, because he can play as a foward and a midfielder, which many people can't do. And James Rodriguez... Well, we don't use him, but when we do he sometimes pulls a fantastic performance. I just hope he can get sold because he deserves a better club that is suited to his playing style.

The defence.

Barcelona have Gerad Pique and that's it. Jordi Alba is unreliable. Vidal is okay, and Mathieu is not going to well. The other defenders on Barcelona aren't high profile and only make it into the first team because Barca is low on defenders.

Real Madrid have Dani Carvajal, Pepe, Sergio Ramos, Raphael Varane, Nacho, Marcelo and Danilo. Not all of them are 100% reliable, but that defence is much better than Barcelona's, isn't it?

And the goalkeeper. Ter stegen is a good goalkeeper, but his defence lets him down. Keylor Navas is about the same. He pulls off better saves, but lets past some poorly taken shots.

So it's the overall team that makes me like Real Madrid better. If football was about the the first team and the forward players, Barcelona would be my team. But it isn't. That's why I think Real Madrid is better. They're a team. Barcelona is just relying on MSN to get them goals, on the midfield to do it's job, and pray that their defense holds up.
