So you're a well-experienced literary critic outlaw. Cool Whenever I read and/or watch stuff that are highly acclaimed that I don't enjoy, I almost always gaslight myself into thinking that I'm the problem and that I'm just not smart or educated enough to see the Bigger Picture™.
I tend to be of the opinion that everyone else is wrong.
Award bait books are not all that good. Just because there's a newbery medal on the cover and the dog dies at the end does not a great work of literature make.
That seems like a very healthy mindset to have No actually for real. Even as an angsty teenager I got so tired of the idea that just because characters and cute animals die in a book that makes the story "mature" and "realistic" or whatever. Angst does not immediately make your story a thoughtful commentary or a mind-blowing narrative. Just look at Wattpad.
I feel that. It's excruciating when you really want to write and continue the grand plan in your mind but the words just won't word.
It's super cool in my head but the paper doesn't think the same way.
Perfect way to put it. xD I really need to force myself to write down random ideas more often, no matter how objectively bad or undercooked they are. I just can't remember cool story ideas like I used to.
Well, that's incredibly sad. I think we were all a little lonely back then, but that's what the MBs were for. I somehow do not anticipate you rushing off and watching this film anytime soon.
Finding Friendships
Yeah, honestly the MBs were probably the least traumatic way one could get acquainted with society Uh, ok, no need to call me out.
And everybody was so nice too, you could find friends everywhere if you tried. No need, just wanted to. Just raising realistic expectations. Finding Friendships
*follows behind you turning off all the lamps so I can fade into the shadows satisfactorily next time*
I agree, why hasn't it been cancelled or something by now? I missed so much work, which was quite enjoyable, but I will now be missing a lot of pay. Finding Friendships
*Finishes inspecting all the lamps, realizes they've all been turned off, then starts over from the beginning in the same order, this time turning on the lamps without turning around.*
Someone should really do something about that. Yes, the classic double-edged sword.
*flips breaker*
You're in a position of power, I think this responsibility falls to you. I can see why some people quit their jobs, unemployment would be nice until my internet shut off and I ran out of ramen. Finding Friendships
I'm gonna lay a guess then that dating other students can be a little awkward, cause if it doesn't work out you still gotta see that person on a regular basis, which means that there's an unhealthy amount of pressure on relationships to work on first go. Or was that just my college?
That's not technically excluded by what I said, but sure, we can go with that. Finding Friendships
No, that's pretty similar to what it's like here. We've had a few friend group split-ups due to couples coming and going. Each new blossoming romance casts a shadow of doom over every unsuspecting friend group.
Going with what I say is always a great idea
Oh precisely, our friend group was in shreds by the end partially due to some break-ups. Freshman year me thought nothing could tear us apart.
The chairs might disagree with that, but you'll never know. Finding Friendships
Would you rather live forever or live very briefly doing what you love? Finding Friendships
...you know what. you're right. is a short life lived to the fullest not more fulfilling than a long life lived miserably? how can one truly live if they do not step outside of what is seen as acceptable in society in search of themselves?
you're right, TheGreatCon. that little armadillo should live in the best way possible. and if he has to do that by playing in traffic, then by golly, let that armadillo play in traffic! You've opened my eyes to the truth! thank you for allowing me to see beyond the restrictive bars of what we call society.
I'll try to pick like a dead-end road in a retirement community to let him play in, it'll increase his chances of enjoying what he loves longer. Finding Friendships

You're right! As a member of TBB's Senior Staff, no one in the world is better equipped than me to rid the world of all illness forever. I imagine having a child also introduces complications.
I think we need to study Con's brain because I'm fairly certain it's not on the default setting
Surely anxiety isn't a default setting... Finding Friendships
I'm pretty sure they changed it to the default setting on the last few software updates. Granted, I jailbroke my me so that might have screwed some stuff up too.
