I'm so glad they colorized those for us, I know they didn't get color into the TVs before 2000.
Yeah, I was glad to see 2D making a comeback, it had much to offer, especially now that the technology had improved enough to allow more movement (especially of the camera).
IKR? The colorization really brings them to life, makes you feel like you're really there.
Oh absolutely, I think most companies saw 2d as outdated tech until Spiderverse and some of the other recent 2D movies came out. Stop motion is also just about holding on.
The suit they used for Jar Jar Binks was really impressive, I could hardly tell it was a costume.
I've noticed there's some new claymation stuff coming out, I've never seen those and never plan to. Supposed they're really good.
How's the semester going? Had your spring break already?
Yes I did, Easter break too. Both were very fun breaks, I got to go places and do stuff with friends. Now I'm reaching the final few weeks of the semester and it feels like everything is happening this weekend: assignments due, martial arts belt test, and my friends are getting married.
That's good! Good luck with the belt test! Are you in the wedding party, or just attending?
I'm impressed with your count, I thought I would be in lead. What have you been reading mainly?

Maybe we need to hire some professional tic-tac-toe players. At least it's still technically possible for one of us to win.
A bunch of Fantasy (and a little Sci-Fi), as usual. I read a couple of the Dune books and a few different series, and I reread The Hobbit and The Silmarillion. What about you?

I think I can safely CONclude now that there is a good reason 4x4 tic tac toe is not a thing. But the question is, will either of us do it?
Wow, those are all on my bucket list. I have read the Hobbit before, but I've been meaning to try the Silmarillion for decades. And I haven't decided whether to wait and read the Dune books until they've made all the movies...spoilers y'know. I been reading some Brandon Sanderson, and I found this series called "Kris Longknife" which is militaristic science fiction, a quite enjoyable genre and book series thus far.

I think a lot of the fun of the game is that it's so quick to play. This is not that. I think that's mostly up to you at this point.
The Silmarillion took me a while to get into the first time I read it, but this time around it wasn't as dry as I remembered, except towards the end. If you're waiting for that, it'll probably be a couple decades at least. I've heard they won't even be adapting most of them as movies. One of the series I read was Wax & Wayne. I read the first three a while ago, but I just go the whole series for Christmas last year.
Honestly though Some of my friends will be like "i can't believe my childhood is gone " and I'll be like "I CAN'T BELIEVE MY CHILDHOOD IS GONE "
Now I can't say I'm looking forward to getting old. Very few perks there, besides retirement, which seems like a sad thing to spend the next forty years looking forward to.
Oh true. I mean, I like the idea of having a solid identity and place within a community and feeling safe all the time, but I really, really don't like the idea of losing my mobility. I really enjoy being able to run as fast as I can whenever I want without sore knees or whatever.
At least you can always remind your family that you reached level Hippie on the Brick Boards.com.
*breaks down sobbing* I used to be Pirate! It was ripped from me! And I can't go back!
I should figure out a way to delete the Fast Chat topic, that might set me back far enough.
XD Ah, but what with the community of the BB think? Will they think their beloved mods are using their power for their own selfish gain? You could start a violent revolution.
You're so real for that, that stuff looks terrifying My friend used to be super motivated to be a journalist until the internship where she met a bunch of successful journalists and heard them speak at conferences and such and was like, "Huh.... all these people are really snobby and really miserable and they never really get to rest... Lemme rethink this"
Oh gosh, I forgot about that. (o , o) Was that a glitch, or some weird update?
As much as I like facts I don't think I'd like that job at all...too short of deadlines and seeing too much of the worst side of the world. Unless I just did a sports section for a small town or something.
I think it was a joke the mods did, I think they changed a few random people's avatars, and then everybody could change theirs later if they wanted to...?
See, yeah, small town news could be really fun to do. Plus I bet you could make your articles really funny.
Oh soooouunnds about right, though you'd know better than me. I think I was on the OG LMBs for essentially five minutes before it was shut down.
Despite that, she still married you, so count yourself lucky
Trust me, I do. I'm still amazed my life has worked out the way it has.
Kinda relate, tbh, I actually went on my first date last week (I know, I'm as surprised as you) it's going pretty well. She actually likes the fact that I have so many weird, niche interests, so I count myself lucky to find a girl who's as big of a brainiac as me

Ha, I win!!!
It is quite intimidating, but I want the nerd rank-up you get by reading it. That sounds like a reasonable wait time. Thanks for reminding me of what that series is called, I needed to go put those on hold for when I finish Mistborn.

I dread the day I can't jump anymore. That's when I'll know I'm old.

If anybody noticed. And a blood revolution is a small price to pay for me getting my favorite rank back.

You could put so many inside jokes in them.
I spent too many minutes on there before it was shut down, but also too few...
I dunno, you might get tired of him dragging you through the dirt after a while. How's your photography?
Not if I don't turn on the TV- oh wait social media exists Mid
Not to mention all those big outdoor TVs that are always in the Spiderman movies. Hm, you might have to deliver pizzas on the side to bring in enough cash.
Trust me, I do. I'm still amazed my life has worked out the way it has.

Hey CONgrats, hope it continues to go well! Weird niche interests are what keeps us from being boring!
