Roses. I know it's basic, but I kinda like how they're gorgeous and widely coveted but have these massive thorns, so that you have to treat them with some level of respect and caution.
Well RN I got the Lego City Space wave. It's pretty good. $400 well spent to buy all 6 sets lol. I probably won't make any large lego purchases for the next few months. Especially since my birthday is in a month.
Oh cool! That's smart, see if any grandparents will get you the big stuff.
Lol, my grandma used to buy me a huuuuuge set every christmas. That's how I got the UCS millenium falcon. She's gotten older and is not really able to walk around stores or order stuff online anymore. And I don't want to bother my grandpa with ordering random stuff. Nowadays they just give me and my siblings $100 bills XD My parents are usually the ones now that order me big presents anymore. Though my mom was not pleased when she saw my $400 haul XD Though, she was thoroughly impressed with my room and closet re-organization that completely decluttered my room and made my closet easier to navigate She was like "okay, you're finally an official, fully-matured adult. I'm no longer worried about you going on a date or going off to college" Which is a win

That's raaaad, I love that for you XD Do you save up the money or spend it all in one go?
Oh trust me, they were huge, the headhole was just a terrible size. I don't think at the point they'd fit your head you'd have the neck strength to wear them.
LOL, guess you're forgiven then.
Phew, I was afraid I'd have to go purchase more just to satisfy your wrath.
At this rate he'll be flying soon. That seems the almost obligatory way to celebrate January. That's good, with any luck it'll rise above decency to something resembling good.
No doubt. Yep. I;d say at this point you could call it vaguely resembling good, nothing major has gone wrong. Oh, and I inherited my great-grandparents' silver teapot a couple of days ago, which probably pushes the month into firmly-good territory.
I aspire to be as unbiased towards my kids. I don't know how she achieved, I was obviously the worst. That might be why once we got older we weren't as interested. I'd still go all out for an egg hunt if that determined how much candy I got.
Some moms are really good actors See, that's the type of motivation kids need. Teach 'em to hunt their prey and take down anyone who stands in their way. It teaches them to physically ruthless and psychologically great businessmen.
That's a scary thought, now I'm second-guessing a lot about my mother. They gotta learn somehow, rather from me than a stranger, right?
See, you're using longer words that make it seem like I'm missing out on something. I have film FOMO. I have never tapped into PowerPoint's true potential apparently.
Aww, that's so sad! I guess the only way to cure this film FOMO would be to.. watch Barbie and The Twelve Dancing Princesses with me That and iMovie can create some bangers of memes if you're desperate enough.
I mean, that is technically the only way. I guess I'll save experiencing that masterpiece for if we ever meet. I am a great CONsumer of memes...not really a creator.
Yeah, definitely. I don't know how the people who don't go to college ever figure out who they are.
I mean, the safest house to have anywhere is a concrete bunker on a paved lot, but sometimes it's worth it for the aesthetic. I would say yes, if not taken to the extreme.
I guess they do it while they're at work, though I feel like it'd be hard to think under the racket of the McDonald’s cash registers beeping.
Good point. Have you seen those videos of moms spray-painting their babies' toys beige and gray so that the colors don't mess with the aesthetic of their house?
I'm not sure I would've liked who I would've turned out to be if it came about while working fast food.
I haven't, but we know a family that donates all the toys they get that don't fit the aesthetic, even if their kid really likes it!!! I was so mad when I found out about it.
That's lucky. I know what you mean with the embarrassment part, I got the family truck stuck in a ditch trying to get to a work site one time, and there was no bad weather in this instance.
Yeah, I wish I could be outdoors more to appreciate the scenery...and this beautiful weather we're having. I ate lunch in my car all week just to soak up the sunshine.
Oof, that's rough. At least I had the excuse of there being no shoulders on the steep and windy roads.
Ooh, that's a good idea. I've been meaning to eat lunch outside more often as it begins to warm up. During our breaks in painting class last semester, I'd take my burger and fries outside and sit on the hill that gives you a good view of the valley, and it was surprisingly calming. I'd often leave the class feeling incredibly angry and stressed-out, so having that twenty minutes of peace in the grass and sunlight was really nice.
Mine was a rough gravel drive, so both of us are cleared of some guilt.
We have a longer lunch break at my new work, so I take walks now! There's a little trail/sidewalk nearby. It's quickly becoming the third best part of my day. Painting was rage-inducing for you? I never tried really, so it could be for me too and I'd never know.
I've really enjoyed talking with you too! It's been great catching up with where everybody is at in their lives rn. I'll try to at least log on and let you all know if this isn't going to be doable with the new job.
That'd be great if you would. That way I wouldn't have to spend weeks sighing and pining for your posts.
Well, this job has been possibly even more boring, but I'm still working out whether I'm comfortable posting on a LEGO site in view of everybody (including my supervisor).
