Did anyone have to read Little Women? I was forced to read it, now I'm doing some pretty tough assignments on it.
We own it, but I haven't read it. A local theater needed someone for a part in a play version of it, and my mom said I should do it, but I was already reading two books, one for school and one for pleasure, so I didn't have time to read the book first.
It's about a couple of kids who discover that their grandparents are the owners of a preserve for magical creatures. 5-book series. Gets pretty involved. It was also one of the first series that taught me Harry Potter isn't the only thing out there.

I read the abbreviated version a long time ago.
I only read as much as I needed to write the assignments, but it was surprisingly interesting. Laurie had a surprisingly realistic pattern of behavior.
