I'm Rick Harrison, and this is my pawn shop. I work here with my old man and my son, Big Hoss. Everything in here has a story and a price. One thing I've learned after 21 years-you never know what is gonna come through that door.
Hello everyone. I had a bunch of Legos I had as a kid and after 35 years of them sitting around at my parents' house, I'm trying to reassemble old sets I know I used to have. I keep running across pieces that I can't identify, so I'm looking for some assistance in identifying some pieces. Does anyone know if there is already a thread for this somewhere? It's also possible these are Tyco pieces as I had several of those sets as a kid too, but I don't know for sure. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks.

Perhaps you might find some useful info in the Lego General threads. Asking knowledgeable users on Finding Friendships (found in Community Chat) would be a good start.

Personally I use Bricklink for that sort of thing. Not only do they have set inventories but they also have pages for every piece. Of course, if you can't find anything there you can feel free to upload images here. I don't think we have a dedicated thread for that here, so you can feel free to create one. Or of course, just post in an existing topic. Or tag me, I'm probably one of the more knowledgeable on old LEGO here. Welcome to the brick boards!
I was zxz6349 on the old Lego Message Boards. Nowadays, I go by the name NinjaDogDB or Vio on other platforms, but I decided to keep the original username that I used on the LMB. I originally joined the LMB on April 6, 2010, though I believe I actually made my Lego ID in like 2007 or 2008. I don't expect anyone here to remember me as I wasn't notable enough to actually warrant much attention, and my time on the LMB was cut short back in like 2014 or 2015 when I lost access to my account unable to get my password reset due to it being on an old email. During my time on the LMB I frequented the Lego Star Wars forum as well as a few others. I can't remember exactly what category included talks of the old Lego flash games that were taken down over the years, but I also frequented there as well. I used to participate in the MLN before it was shut down, but I never made it past Rank 4. The grind was just too much for me I guess. Only "achievement" if you could call it that was when a moderator for the LMB commented on one of my threads in a small series I was doing discussing my thoughts on each Lego franchise that had a category at the time. Only got up to three before I lost access to my account.
Since those times, I've done other things. I stopped building with Legos a few years back and gave all my Legos to my younger sibling except for my most prized MOCs that I still have with me. Despite not being as enthusiastic about Lego as I once was, Lego still has a special place in my heart. I still return to the old Lego Bionicle commercials (Creeps from the Deep will always be my favorite), play the old Lego flash games (I've beaten Crystalien Conflict who knows how many times at this point as well as finally completing Junkbot for once), and looking into the old Lego sets that I owned over the years. I started playing with Legos back in 2005-2006. I still have the 8 limited edition metallic gold bricks from the Limited Edition 50th Anniversary Bucket (serial 4105-2) though I lost the bucket years ago. I was lucky enough to meet one of the members of the Crystalien Conflict Redux Project, and I still talk with them occasionally. This is already getting to be pretty long, so I'll end this here. I just wanted to come back and relive some nostalgia (I love the recreation of the old LMB layout too brings back so many memories). I might check back here every so often, and talk who knows.

Your username does ring a slight bell, I think I saw your page / post on LMB wiki a while back and it was in my memory. Welcome to the brick boards! Are you a fan of the old game worldbuilder?

Still surprised I had a page on the LMB wiki honestly since I happened to stumble upon it when looking to see if I could find a full archive of the message boards to view my old threads.
Worldbuilder 1 and 2 were fun games, and I did enjoy them quite a bit. They have some good puzzles, and the concept is really neat. Though, when they were taken off the Lego website, I struggled to find any trace of either of them for years. Thankfully, they are on BlueMaxima’s Flashpoint, and I’ve been playing through them again on that. Did you ever play the old Supersonic RC game?

Hi! I'm BabyDill (Changed my username for a short time as a joke) I've never meet you before, I wasn't on the LMBs, or anything before that. It's good to make your acquaintance! I like Star Wars to! Who's your favorite Star Wars character? Bionicles was great! I still don't understand why it was such a short run. What are some of your favorite movies or books? Favorite foods? I'm hope you find the nostalgia you're looking for!

Hello there, BabyDill!
Pleased to meet you. I will say that I have a few favorite Star Wars characters. Obi Wan Kenobi, Yoda, Chewbacca, and Darth Vader/Anakin Skywalker are a just a few of my favorites. Bionicle was great, and recently I've been watching the 9 and a half hour long Bionicle lore video by DuckBricks because of how interesting it is. I highly recommend listening to it if you haven't.
As for favorite movies and books I have many favorites. Book wise my favorite author would be Jules Verne. I also really love Sherlock Holmes and the Hardy Boys books. Currently reading Louis L'Amour books as well. As for movies I would say Hunchback of Notre Dame by Disney is one of my favorites especially (the music is especially top-notch), of course I like the Star Wars movies especially the original trilogy and Revenge of the Sith, the Marvel movies are also really good (I especially like the Spiderman movies), and Atlantis The Lost Empire by Disney is another favorite.
For my favorite foods, I love alfredo, pizza (of course), and deer steaks with homemade gravy. Thank you, and I think I will find the nostalgia I'm searching for.
What about you? Tell me a little bit about yourself if you don't mind.

Thanks! So many of them are great I don't blame you. XD Favoritevillains prob Cad Bane and Hando, favorite heroes...... Ashoka and Obi Wan.
(My dog is sitting here with her nose on my keyboard demanding my attention XD Do you have any animals?)
I've never seen the DuckBricks video, sounds interesting and full of info.
I don't think I've read any Jules Verne, that's poetry, right? I love Sherlock Holmes! Do you have a favorite Holmes story? Hardy boys are classic and classy. I've never read Louis L'Amour either perhaps I should.
Oh, that one's hard for me to watch. But it's still a good movie and quality music. Naturally, have you watched any of the Clone Wars stuff? Marvel was greatuntil Endgame, then they decided to start ruining things imho. I like Civil War and Winter Shoulder and No Way Home was awesome. What's your favorite Marvle film? Have you ever seen Treasure Planet?
(Lol yes!) Oh the deer steak sounds so good! Good I'm glad.
Ok. My favorite color is pink (In case you can't tell) What's your favorite color? I like to listen to music and sing. What music do you like? I love animals, Phantom of the Opera, talking with my friends, and drawing. What are some of your hobbies?

A group of Quokkas with bowler hats and tommy machine guns that shoot marshmallows and skittles barge through the door and spread out then the obvious leader, A Capybara with a pinstripe suit and yellow tie, saunters up to the counter fallowed by his Quokka possie. He tips the little fedora he's wearing up to show his black eyes. "Listen shop boy, I need some top-notch marshmallows and skittles to load up on, and a tankard of the best fresh lake water you got. Capish?"

Those are some good choices. Ahsoka is a good character honestly.
I don't have any animals currently. I like dogs and wolves, and I like cats as well. Maybe I'll get a pet sometime in the future.
Jules Verne writes adventure novels like Journey to the Center of the Earth, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, and The Mysterious Island. Choosing a favorite Holmes story is rather difficult because there are many good ones; however, I would say Valley of Fear is probably my favorite since I think about it a lot. Louis L'Amour is more Historical Fiction focused on the Wild West though he has written stories that take place in other settings.
I've seen a few Clone Wars episodes, but I haven't actually sat down and watched all of them. I should do that sometime honestly. All that I know from the Clone Wars is the information in my Star Wars Encyclopedia which is already outdated, Lego Star Wars III The Clone Wars video game, and the few episodes that I have seen. No Way Home was really good. Was really cool to see the previous actors from the first three Spiderman movies and both of the Amazing Spiderman movies. I don't think Marvel has ruined the movies just yet. It's cool that they're introducing some of their lesser known comic book characters lately. Favorite Marvel film would have to be Avengers Earth's Mightiest Heroes (the first Avengers movie) mostly because that one funny scene with Hulk and Loki always comes to my mind when thinking about Marvel movies. Yes, I have seen Treasure Planet, and I really like it a lot as well.
My favorite color is Blue. I prefer darker shades of blue the most. I like to listen to music, sing, and sometimes dance. I listen to a lot of different kinds of music. I love a large variety of music genres; however, the songs that I love the most are usually ones with pipe organs and/or a medieval/gothic choir. The genres I tend to listen to the most are Electronic Dance Music, Classical, and Classic Rock and Roll. Phantom of the Opera is really good. I watched the 2004 movie a while back, and I really enjoyed it. I like to draw as well, but I don't do it very often. I also like to talk with my friends and play with them too. As for hobbies, I tend to play video games and read books; however, I have done a little bit of programming and game development. I used to like writing short stories as well, but I haven't had any ideas lately.
