Being on the forums has never been cool, but it's also never been uncool. Ooh, interesting. What sort of board/card games are you into?
I see you've already figured that out
Mostly Pokemon TCG and Keyforge, especially Keyforge because it doesn't have the balance problems other card games have, and not because it's new. The very basics of how the game is sold solves that. It's also alot cheaper to stay competitive. 10$ is all you need.
Mmm. Never heard of those games. I'll have to do some research.

Pokemon TCG is the Pokemon Trading Card Game (TCG). Pokeomn cards.
Keyforge is something new to the world of card games. it's a unique deck game.
In most TCG's you build a deck of a certain amount of cards, with any cards you want, within the rule constrictions. Keyforge is different. In keyforge, each 'Booster pack' contains 1 deck, procedurally generated to be completely unique. No other deck in the world will be quite like it. They may be similar, but not the same. The decks also can't be mixed. Each deck has a unique name and card back, distinguishing it from every other deck in existence.
Here is one of my decks. No other deck will have the same name, or card back. Which can be seen on the topmost card. The best thing, one deck. 10$ which is unheard of in the card game world. You'll need rules and tokens of course, but these can be printed out for free. There is a 25$ starter set, which includes the rules, 2 'booster packs', enough tokens for 2 people, and a play mat to keep things organized. Essentially, your paying 5 bucks for the tokens and playmats, plus the fairly sturdy box it comes in.
Sorry if I flooded you here. I get excited when I talk about keyforge.
I know right? Nice to meet you too by the way. By the way if auroramay can see this, weird is a good thing, and I wouldn't think your weird in a bad way. Besides, your little sister is my very good friend
Wait, what? You know my sister?
(Sorry, she was talking to me. She's new to this thing in general)

Hmm. This is really quite intriguing. The price makes it tempting to buy, I'll have to check and see if this game is at my local board games store.
It's fine. I like hearing about people talking about their passion. Your passion is Keyforge. It's great to be passionate about something, even a board game.

You should. It's a blast. though if you live anywhere in the south be prepared to hunt. I could only find decks at my local Target, but you can find them in Barnes & Noble.
If you wait a couple weeks or so, you can get the newest set, Worlds Collide which adds 2 new factions (Grand Star Alliance, and the Saurian Republic) to the original 7 (Dis, Mars, Sanctum, Logos, Shadows, Brobnar, and Untamed), though Mars and Santum won't be available in that set, but they will be rotated into new sets. It also adds a new product, the Deluxe Archon Deck Which is 15$ for 1 deck, and the tokens, so if you don't need the large box you can buy that. Which is something I'm going to do when it comes out near me. My paper tokens won't last forever.
Dis is my favorite house. It's kinda creepy, but the amount of control and disruption in that house is crazy. Shadows is considered the best house, but I think Dis is better.
The show is the best of everything official that has come from Ninjago, so I'd suggest you watch the show. I would say you should start with the two pilot episodes, they have a bit of a different feel from the rest of the show moving forward but it sets everything up. There are 11 seasons after that and a kinda Halloween-like special that takes place between seasons 6 and 7. The first 9 seasons are on Netflix currently and I know some libraries do carry the DVDs with the episodes on them. They originally all aired on Cartoon Network but they hardly show any Ninjago episodes unless it's brand new nowadays. I wouldn't suggest skipping seasons or episodes since most of them do connect to the bigger story in some way and you wouldn't want to miss something that could be important later on. ( Sorry for the information dump... )
Hmm. I see. I have Netflix, so I'll put it on to my watch list. It'll join the thousand other shows on my to watch list...
I know the feeling, my mental to watch list is pretty long. My mental reading list seems even longer.
