They are met with a deadly hail of grenades and bullets from the part of the defenders and turrets defending the area, who hold their ground behind barricades of concrete and sandbags. The cruiser and it's dropships once again bombard the Maelstrom horde as faction grunts set down shield barriers to properly defend the Launch area and tunnel.

Hopefully, combined with the damage it's already suffered the Nexus Force cruiser will soon be failing* *Meanwhile, some holes open on the lower side of the cruisers and Stromlings with parachutes begin to rain below them* *Also meanwhile, back at the remnants of the Sentinel Camp, little groups of Stromlings keep coming, never letting people to attempt to rebuild their Camp*

The small packs of Stromlings are pinned down by rifleman squads, supported by Sentinel Knights. Machine-gun emplacements are installed behind sandbags and fortifications to keep the Stromlings out, and an Assembly team are called.
The heavy fire of the cruisers slams into each other from the previous, move, damaging them heavily. The Cruiser starts moving away, as it's point defence machineguns shoot down as many paratroopers as they can. The drop being done at day, and directly over a Nexus Force military installation, the Stromlings are cut down as they land or even before.
