Most dropships are hit by a stream of blue projectiles, as the Battlecruiser's point defence grid comes online, tearing through aircraft and stromlings with ease, and clearing a way as it rushes forwards. Several dropships also deploy out of the Battlecruiser's hangars, and go to reinforce the Sentinel Base camp. Radio communications shoot out of the Nexus Force bases and ships, signalling nearby forces.
OOC: They teleported next to me. BTW, I don't think that's how infection works, considering in LU you are CONSTANTLY fighting the Maelstrom without being infected. In fact, I don't even think minifigures COULD be infected by the Maelstrom:S. All in all, I don't believe the Stromlings are actual minifigures infected. Even if they were, what would driving a dropship that had Stromlings in it previously have to do with getting infected:S? Lastly, how did your dropships get behind mine when I was facing all of them:S? I will just wait for a response before posting my next move:).

Once they get past it, they turn around to continue their attack*

*Bolt's group of Summoners and Shinobis take up position on the ridge surrounding the Sentinel camp* "Talk about giving up the advantage! Fire!" *The summoners set up Blupers that rain down into the base and also release owls into the camp. The Shinobi throw shurikens and fire Shinobi Lightening into the pit. The combined barrage mows down any Stromlings that can't hide behind the small amount of cover there is and damages the Spiderlings*

OoC: They are not all dropships. There are also bombers. I don't know if bomber is a term generally used; I used it influenced by the TIE Bombers, but you still get what I mean to say.
@junior: The keyphrase is a few. Not all. And besides, I am saying the Maelstrom forces are depleted.
IC: Eventually, the big mob is utterly destroyed. The Nexus Force is victorious (sort of). However, as a reminder that the battle is never over, small groups of Stromlings, the ones who usually wander around the Battleground anyway approach from time to time, wishing to seize the chance of the fallen gate.
