*The Scavenger passes through, climbing the mountains quickly. When he reaches the top, he opens up his glider, and begins soaring to The Lion Knights Kingdom.*
Four pairs of unseen eyes watch him. "Soon, children. It is not quite time yet. Be patient."
A convoy of around 50 mounted men enters from the North. They ride on the backs of stout black horses, each with a unicorn helm crafted of blackened steel. The arms are displayed by several bannermen and upon the flags of lancers. It is a Black Cross upon a field of white. In the northwest quarter of the flag is a black unicorn.
The column is headed by a man and a woman in regal robes and armour.

A voice echoes around them as they pass, the source unseen. "Who dares trespass in my mountains?"

The man at the head of the column frowns. He nods to his herald who rides beside him.
"You address Lord Ulrich von Zweihand, chief of the House Zweihand of Castle Schwarstein, prince of Flusberg, duke of the Seebring and uncrowned King of Sylvania, first of his name." The herald speaks loudly, "And duchess Rietta of Seebring, the lady in Schwarstein and uncrowned queen of Sylvania."
"I pass through these mountains on my own authority," speaks the lord, "I am backed by 20 Zweihand Lancers, and 10 seasoned Knights of the Blackstone. Those who claim to value their lives and freedom will leave us unopposed. Or do us one better and see us on the quickest pass to the plains beyond. If you seek only to accuse us of villainy, we will usher no further response. If you seek to harm me or my people in any way, you will be met with steel and spear."

"Your titles mean nothing here. The mountains are my domain. No one enters or leaves save by my permission. Still, I have no wish to harm you. If you swear to pass through as swiftly as possible without causing harm I will allow you to continue."

"We do so. You are gracious to allow us passage, and wise all the same."

They continue to southwestern edge of the mountain pass, and the plains come into sight in between rocky crags. No one in the convoy is remiss to be nearing the end of the mountains.

The looming presence remains, for now.
The convoy leaves the mountains, and officially enters the South.
"It is time. Come, my children." If any people lurk in the Mountains, they hear a whooshing of wind and see a blur of red, orange, brown. The dragons are coming.
