Demiu fires a Tier 2 energy bolt at the archway connecting the corridor and the stairs, trying to bring it down.

"I can." The strange glint has returned to Logaire's eyes. He seems very calm, given the chaos around them. Without another word, he charges down the stairs, swinging his spear. He bowls over the first rank of Xains, and then begins to tear into the next. "Go. I am ready for this."

OOC: Yay! I can get back to single handily destroying the entire Xain army!
IC: *Rojinn Roars, and takes to the air, breathing fire on the Xain, and heads towards any large grouping of Sorcerers (if he spots any) or Darthraxx.*

A messenger finds Darthraxx and tells him Gidie is teleporting a group of Lion Knights away. The rest of the army is still searching the castle.
*Darthraxx tells the messenger to get him when everyone else is out of the castle, while he continues defending the walls and keeping them from falling for just a little while longer.*

They see a large group of Xains pursuing a smaller group of minotaurs. Every so often, a handful of the minotaurs will branch off and attack the Xains before returning to the rest of the group. The rest of the battle is not visible from this angle.

Alpida takes out two of the remaining sorcerers. Now that they are no longer focused on holding Rojinn, one of them begins to prepare an attack.
