"Charge!" She begins rushing towards the Xains on the shore, motioning for the minotaurs to get to the front so they can shove the other soldiers out of the way.
Karthon held to loose three more arrows before bringing up the rear.
OOC: When abouts will this event end, or when Karthon isn't needed any more?

Only one of them hits the mark as the Xains press in close around them. The surprise of the charge, however, is enough to almost push them through to the clear ground. Alpida and Dubhan set themselves to breaking through, and are making progress when Dubhan suddenly goes flying through the air. One of the Xains on the shore stands smugly with an outstretched hand.
OOC: I want to have it over by the end of February. If we continue at the current pace, it may be before that. Karthon won't really be necessary after the Kriatoma beat the Xains they're fighting, which probably won't be too much longer. It depends on how things play out once these ten are defeated.
IC: "We'll have to finish this conversation another time." Lexos said. Lexos draws his sword. "Why are you staying?" Lexos asked, frowning.
OOC: Just switching to the most recent quote chain.
Corellus nods.
"In order to survive the Xain that attacked before you arrived, I had to make a sacrifice. Until now, I had no control over when that price would be paid. But if I place my life in danger, I will force Its hand." He begins walking toward the battle. "I can't promise any of you will ever see me again, but I will survive. Now get out of here before it's too late."
Lexos inclined his head. "If we do not meet again because either of us doesn't make it, I just want to say farewell. It was good to know you." Lexos turned and ran to catch up with the others.

Casur leaps to the front of the charge and bounds forward, smashing the Xain soldiers to the ground and clearing a path for Alpida and the others.

He is suddenly swept off his feet and flung through the air by an unseen force, just like Dubhan, but not before clearing out the last of the Xains standing between Alpida and Karthon and the long stretch of land to their targets.

RomeNZ: Xains are in red, you are in gray. The Xains you are after are about 100 meters away.

Captain Galdan and those who remain of the ninety men charged with driving the Xain from the upper floors withdraw, as they have lost too many to be of much use in their current position. They return to the courtyard.
On their way, they see Gidie and the Dragon Knights who have been tasked with clearing the castle. Gidie sends a messenger to Darthraxx, tells the others to bring anyone they find to him there, and begins casting a spell to teleport Galdan and his troops away.
Seeing that the castle is being evacuated, Eorion and the Warriors of the Northern Sun on the wall go and gather their horses in preparation of departure.

Casur mutters something under his breath about sorcerers.
OOC: Was he thrown, or is he being held in the air?
