Eorion sends seventy men to assist them. They try to push the Xain back from the upper floors.
Demiu's group unfurl their Banners of Light, and try to cut a path through the Xain.
They have some success, but whenever they seem about to strike a decisive blow, the Xains flee through the halls and go somewhere else.
There are far too many for their company to handle, even in the narrow corridors.
They fall back and try to establish a defensive line, holding as many rooms and corridors as they can, relying on bottlenecks to keep the Xains at bay.
"Fall back!"
Once the Lion Knights with him have withdrawn a little, Demiu glances to the ceiling, then to the floor. The stone ceiling comes crashing down, crushing the Xains, followed by any suits of armour and the like in the corridor above.
OOC: Would you say that would be a Tier 4 spell, or would it count as 5?
Karthon sweeps his hair back. "Very good." He said, trying to keep the uncertainty out of his voice.
The soldier frowns, drawing his sword. "Hey-." He is cut off by an arrow from the ship. The Kriatoma jump up and begin disembarking. "Good work, Karthon." As the Xains move to fight, the kriatoma rush to meet them.

They are able to hold their position, but it is difficult, as Xains keep appearing suddenly before disappearing again.

They see that most of the Xains are concentrated in one area, a little ways from the shore. They also see a group of them attacking the castle in the distance.

OOC: LegoBuilder: Do you want to get back into this?
"C'mon you slackers!" Lexos yells at the Xains. "You are fine substitutes for armoured chickens! I bet you can't wield a sword any better than you can trip over a brick, which is an object far more intelligent than you!" Lexos prepares to block any angry attackers.
The Xains do not respond, as they have now run away.
"Cowards!" Lexos shouts after them, then looks around to meet up with Harfor and/or Amion again.
They fall back and try to establish a defensive line, holding as many rooms and corridors as they can, relying on bottlenecks to keep the Xains at bay.

The floor crushes the Xains outside the tunnel.
OOC: Tier 4.
They keep fighting as best they can.
Demiu's group try to find another corridor leading to the tunnel entrance, as this one is now blocked.
He finds Harfor and sees Amion chasing the Xain at a great speed. Amion soon disappears from view
"Stay with our soldiers." Lexos ordered to Harfor, then sprinted after Amion.
As Amion and Harfor catch up to the soldiers, they realize this was perhaps not the best idea. In a wide hall, the Xains stop to fight them. There is no bottleneck here to protect them.

OOC: Thanks.
As they turn to leave, the stones of the floor begin to rise up and fly at them with incredible speed, enough to smash anyone they hit. The suits of armor reassemble themselves and begin walking toward the Lion Knights.
