*Darthraxx casts a complex spell, encasing himself in an absorbent, breathable energy-like cloth-like, substance as he continues towards the sorcerers with blade and lightning and energy, yelling for the Kriatoma to follow.*
Gidie's second spell: 100%
Gidie casts the spell. "It's almost time. I'm going to give the word, and then you hit them as hard as you can."
A handful of the Kriatoma continue struggling to reach his position.
A fair number of the Xains fall, but the line is long and he cannot target many of them with this attack.

Suddenly, a blast of fire comes down from the sky onto the Xains. It is followed by two smaller blasts and then the raking claws of three dragons tear through those that survived the fire.
OOC: They're in the other battle, by the coast. But you have the dragons now, since I totally forgot about them.

*Darthraxx continues to chew up the bubble wrap of Xain in front of the magicians, sending a few blasts backwards to help the Kriatoma.*

Suddenly, a blast of fire comes down from the sky onto the Xains. It is followed by two smaller blasts and then the raking claws of three dragons tear through those that survived the fire.
OOC: They're in the other battle, by the coast. But you have the dragons now, since I totally forgot about them.
IC: The allies charge into the confusion while the dragons deal with the stronger troops. The archers rush into where the fighting was momments ago to reclaim some of their arrows.

IC: The allies charge into the confusion while the dragons deal with the stronger troops. The archers rush into where the fighting was momments ago to reclaim some of their arrows.
The minotaurs cheer as the Xains fall to the combined attacks. They retreat a ways away to regroup before they return to battle.
Those Xains who survived the initial dragon attack are still focused on the skies and are unprepared for the Forest Band's attack.
Gidie activates his first spell. All of the sorcerers' spells suddenly stop. "Do it now!"
*Darthraxx jumps up, using the levitating cloak he made to send lightning and energy directly into the large group of sorcerers, smashing many.*
Defenseless with out their magic, most of the sorcerers fall to the attacks. Just as quickly as it started, however, the block is over and the two remaining sorcerers put up a shield to protect themselves.
Dubhan speaks. "We have come to ask you to free these prisoners. My name is Dubhan Finnasoch and I was a member of the crew hired by Alpida Makrinorasi to awaken your people from their slumber and return them to this world." He points at Karthon. "This man, Karthon, was also a member of this crew." He points at Kestrel. "This, Kestrel Creerden, belongs to the Shadow Warriors and is therefor Alpida's compatriot and our ally. Karthon and Kestrel were on a mission to smash the Xain general when your troops attacked them and they were forced to defend themselves."
Eudoxa is silent a moment as she processes this. "I now see that I do recognize both of you. I believe your story, Dubhan Finnasoch, but that does not free your allies from the law. They may complete this mission they were sent on, as it is imperative to the survival of all of us, but Dareos must be sent with them. I will pass their sentence when they return."
Dubhan nods. "We accept."
At Eudoxa's command, Dareos walks a short distance away and returns with their weapons. The other Kriatoma begins cutting Karthon and Kestrel loose.

OOC: just so you know, I chose the green energy specifically because that they shouldn't be able to block it. Energy in this kind of form would be able to phase through/break through any kind of material you use as a shield, unless they create a shield of lightning, or maybe fire (and with fire I'm hesitant.). BUT, if you make the shield of either of those substances, the shield would actually make it worse for when the Lightning hits, as it would start downward momentum for the entire shield, rather than just having that bolt attack.

The Forest Band is careful not to get surrounded. As they push in, they push out as well. The archers try to conserve arrows, firing onthly when there is a clear shot.
