OOC: what do you mean? I'm using magic to transform their chalk into acid. what do you mean it can only affect one type of item? Or are they using multiple mediums to make their runes?
IC: *Darthraxx shouts acknowledgement, raining down lightning on the enemies and trying to gather more Kriatoma together.*
OOC: They are not using chalk. Since the spell can only affect chalk, it did nothing. A different spell would have to be used to destroy the medium that they are using.
IC: "When I say the word, hit the Old Magic-users with everything you've got." Gidie begins to cast a spell. 13%
He will have to be careful with the lightning strikes not to hit the Kriatoma, as the bulk of the two armies are now hopelessly intertwined. A few of the Kriatoma begin fighting their way through the battle to his position.
*He continues around the "line" of Kriatoma, rounding them up, using Lightning and sword in conjunction to attack the nearest Xain.*

The Xain soldiers seem to assume he has been smashed by the attack. Some step on him, but don't try to check his condition.
IC: Lexos tries to move, but all he could do was just weakly clutch the right side of his face before darkness crept across his vision. It was impossible to see him, due to him being covered in dirt and his cloak concealing him. From the blast, his sword lay in shatters beside him.
*Drake uses a tier 4 spell to send fireballs at them.*
Harfor calls out: "Cut off the reinforcements! Don't hit our men!" A few forest soldiers with shields go near to Drake and ensure he is protected.
A Forest Band soldier ran up to Harfor with an alarmed expression. "Sir, a fireball struck Captain Lexos! Unfortunately, I could not retrieve his body. I believe he has been smashed."

As the Kriatoma begin to come together, they form a series of rings. Those on the outside fend off the Xains attacking them. Those inside rotate through so that no one is on the outside for too long.

As the weapons of the Xains have more reach, the archers have great difficulty fighting them. In the chaos, they are unable to find precisely where Lexos fell.
"Your arrows can't do anything if you can't get close enough to use them. Look, I have a plan. If you'll just listen to me, I know you can get the job done."
"Alright, have at it."
"Okay. Here's my plan. You and Karthon will smash two Xains and take their uniforms. You will go around the battle with Casur and bring him to the tent. You will tell them that Casur is a prisoner and you're bringing him to the General. That should get you close enough to strike."
