Psst, hey, Torah, can I mess a bit with the storyline? Lego does many great toys and sets, but not as many good storylines.
Would you mind letting me know the overall idea of your plot in jammers? I don't want to go too off key.
I do agree that some of Lego's storylines aren't as great as they could be so it'd be fine if we did a storyline close to the canon one. I was intending on cooking something up with everyone anyways.
Some key points with me is I don't want crazy new tribes being introduced like "Rat Tribes" or "Elephants". You know what I mean?
Lego states that Crystallized Chi is formed by combining the minerals found in the Chi Pool, but it wasn't always there, so it my story would cover how.
So, basically, in my storyline, the First Lion serves as an agent to the Phoenixes, or a Greater Power if we aren't going to include them. He rules over the Lion Tribe that forms after, and the Chi water grants long life and good intelligence to the Tribes. The Lion King announces his projects: after some time, the Tribes shall be awarded Crystallized Chi, that will give them an even greater extent of power and knowledge. However this is to be made gradually, and the Tribes must learn to master is slowly, lest they fall into war and violence.
However, as the King is away, his steward discovers how to crystallize Chi (the Chi Pool) after a speech from him, and approval from the people, he builds it, and Chi is distributed freely. The King returns and is much displeased. He tells the people and the steward that because of this, they shall be punished with war and suffering, and the keeping of the Chi shall be a heavy burden. The next day, the steward is imprisoned and the King leaves forever. Then the roleplay starts.

{Spoiler}{JAMMERS! FELIPEDUTRA ONLY!} That actually sounds pretty good. It might be a little hard for everyone to get used to but it's fine with me. Do you think we should give a brief summary about it to the others before implementing it or should we just tell them we have a story line worked out (made by you) and then just post the HQs and begin the storyline? Oh, and about the Phoenixes, I do think we should get to them a bit later in the RP. What do you think?

{Jammers off}
Thank you. I do consider writing world-driven stories a hobby of mine. My character stories aren't as good, though. I like the Phoenix idea.
Well, excuse-me, I'm going to do the public storyline suggestion.
As all of you gentlemen know, Lego makes great toys, but not as many great stories. And I like writing stories. There are still many things to clear about Chima Lore, so I wanted to start by modifying and completing the story of the First Chi Drinker, and how the Chi pool was built.
In my version of the plot, the first Chi Drinker is actually an agent of the Phoenixes, and a greater power. He becomes the ruler of the Lion Tribe that forms a few years later. The Chi water grants long life and knowledge to all that drink from it. After several prosperous years, the Lion King announces his plans: the tribes shall be awarded Crystallized Chi (Chi Orbs) after some time, and it shall give them strength, and greater knowledge and lifetime. The process shall be gradual, and the tribes shall learn slowly how to master and use it, lest they fall into violence and war.
However, as the King has to go away, his steward, seeking glory and power, finds the crystallization method (the Chi pool), and after a speech to the people, and their approval, builds it. The Chi orbs are distributed freely and without moderation. The King returns and is much displeased. He tells the people that because of their disobedience, the Chi will instead shorten their lives, and they shall be punished with war and suffering. The keeping of the Chi becomes a heavy burden, requiring all the balance and ceremony we see in the show.
The next day, the King leaves forever, but not before throwing the steward into jail (allowing him to be used as a potential villain). Then the roleplay starts.

So basically, it's set in ancient Chima.
Yes, but as we progress the story we eventually get to "modern" Chima. Also, I think we had decided to start the RP from the start of Chima.

I thought so...
Would characters eventually be smashed from old age?
Also, the war between the Ice Hunters and the Phoenixes happened in ancient Chima. Unless we included it.... that would make for some interesting roleplaying. What do you guys think?
Should we include the war and allow the HQs to choose sides in the conflict, or just skip over it?

I don't know about the old age thing. Should our characters be immortal in context of not dying by age because they had the special Chi?
I thought of that as well. That was my original suggestion with the our characters originally being Legend Beasts and drinking from the Chi pool. Then we would go from there but some thought that was weird... I may not have conveyed it clearly though so my bad.
Torahvision I'll most likely get the eagle HQ set up this week or the next(cuz breath of the wild has taken over my life)
Though that leaves me curious, how do we start off the hqs? Make something like a description of our race or something? Or some lore about the race(plus possibly the HQ leader's in it too)

Well, a sample of the bios you want your tribe members to submit would be nice. Before that, write up what your HQ looks like. Then list positions. You have complete freedom with those. As long as there is a 1ic, 2ic, and an infinite rank for all tribe members that is fine. Try not to have too many "special" ranks. Felipe and some others are tossing around storyline ideas so be aware of that. That might influence how HQs are run as well.
Perhaps instead of ancient Chima we should use "modern" Chima as the setting but before either Crominus or LaGravis were born. That way there would be more conflict between the tribes, the Pledge of the Pack wouldn't exist, and we don't have to deal with a Crocodile uprising. (At least, not yet.)
