It has come to the attention of the FAC that the technology level chosen during the roleplay planning is not being respected. It must be considered that, since the Industrial Revolution was chosen, we shouldn't have most of the technology being used, and battles should be fought with breech-loading rifles and horse cavalry. The technology is also advancing too quickly for the era too. Because of this, a new poll is being held.

Please be sure about the chosen era, as to not complicate the census process. It must be made clear that depending on the chosen era, technology, canon or not, shall be either blocked or allowed. No eras lower than the current shall be chosen. Here are rough choices of the eras available. If
Inter War period (about 1918) Tanks and aircraft exist, but are generally unreliable and ineffective. The same can be said for most portable automatic weapons, thus limiting technology to perhaps some electricity, mechanical contraptions, bolt action weapons and dirigibles. Pre-War period (about 1939) Aircraft are more effective and reliable. Tanks are much better, but mostly vulnerable to low-calibre weapons, or else slow. Automatics are finally reliable, and electro-mechanical devices enter the field. Radar exists in it's primitive state. Post-War period (about 1950) There are now jet and rocket planes, tanks start evolving to their modern form. Computers are efficient enough, but bulky and primitive still. Late Cold War period Computers are efficient enough to do such things as properly guide missiles, tanks may have composite armour, and ballistic vests and helmets may exist. Modern period Modern era technology.

I don't see why we need an era anyway. Chima is a different planet in a different universe from ours. I only use the official technology from the show and sets, so I'm not sure why there's a problem.
But if we must have an era, I vote for the Far Future. Chima is a world with lasers, detachable vehicles, and power sources derived from limitless water. So yeah, definitely future for me.

Are we not having an option for keeping our current level?
I vote for the Pre-war period.
To everyone, I say this:
Remember, this RP is set before the TV show. Choosing an era with tech more advanced than in the show would ruin it all.
Yes there is, but with it comes the obligation to line up infantrymen wearing pompous clothing in front of each other to fire as our battles. No planes, or vehicles besides horse carts. Enregistrer

Ladies and gentlemen, I dare you to look outside your window and see a Gorilla Mech. I dare you to look outside and see a massive, floating mountain, spewing pure energy, which can power futuristic devices called Speedorz. I dare you to look outside and see poor, mutated freaks that bathed in this pure energy and got mutated to the point they have become sentient. If you actually see these things, then something is very wrong. ( ) Technology today is nowhere near as advanced as the tech seen in Chima. I was going to vote Twenty Minutes, but my own speech has persuaded me to say Far Future. Of course, if this roleplay takes place BEFORE the show (which I find confusing and unnecessary), then I must vote for Twenty Minute. But my last word on the subject is that you have brought Bats, Spiders, and Scorpions into the roleplay. Thus, we are in modern times, thus I vote for Far Future.
