Pshh safety, sounds like you're just letting The Man get you down
It was not, but dang, sometimes i miss it
Even if I weren't a rule stickler myself... anyone caught wearing earbuds is eligible for a write-up.
You miss the job and not the frigid commutes, right...?
You mean you'd be written up by The Man?
I can list a few reasons why I'd do it again 1. It wasn't that cold, i was bundled up 2. I got to listen to my music at full volume without worrying about being hit by cars, annoying pedestrians, or not being able to hear it over traffic 3. The city at night covered in snow is freakin beautiful 4. I love the liminal effect the city at night has 5. Existential crises 6. A friendly dog i met on the walk 7. Nature feels good sometimes

I might be what you call a little insane
I... guess so? But like I said, I'm not just doing it for his sake.
Huh, alright, pretty much all those reasons seem valid. Aren't existential crises a bad thing though...?

See, i would think so, but it's kind of therapeutic makes my problems seem less big

Interesting. I'd assume such problems would be part of the cause of the crises.
Eh most of my problems are making money, paying rent, starting a family soon and other manageable tasks that people deal with every day, compared to the idea we could all be wiped out by the heat death of the universe or a horde of zombies, we don't have it nearly as bad as it could be

XD Ah, it offers perspective, I see.
Basically, when you accept the fact you could be wiped out at any moment it really does take a lot of the pressure off

Does that make life seem at all... pointless? (I don't mean to cause more existential crisis, just trying to figure out how to continue the dialogue... )

Basically, but we all have to find meaning for ourselves at some point, even if that's just something little like the desire to eat ice cream again, or something big like starting a campaign to save tigers or something But that's a good point, this is getting rather existential Have you heard about Universal making the next LEGO movie? \

I haven't heard about that, no. What's it about?
Literally no idea All that's known right now is that LEGO ended their deal with Warner Bros. and made a new one with Universal, which means no more Batman or Gandalf, and now we get Harry Potter and Minions probably
I work in tech support now, so I have a lot of free time and realized I can possibly maintain a conversation on here again. Wassup, it's ya boi Judah, I'm engaged as well as having a kid in August, I work in internet tech support, the last LEGO set I bought was the Minecraft panda for me and my fiancee, and I'm currently playing LEGO Marvel's Avengers
edit: who all's here, what's going on, spill some tea sis
Howdy again! I'm not very active but im still here haha I work at an American restaurant that starts with "chick" and ends with "a"

Ah, I see. Batman will be missed. Could be interesting though.
