Hello, everyone. MKF4 here.
As always, yet another year has come and gone, marking 7 years since I joined the LEGO Message Boards back in 2013. Time flies, and here I am now. Granted, this isn't the original LEGO Message Boards, but we still remember it for what it was. Even after numerous transfers, the panic of the Gallery trolling crisis and later Gallery shutdown, we found ourselves here. And then Astro almost shut the site down. Then, 4 mod wars and admin switches later, here we are. We're still intact, still friends, and still happy. The site is stable, even if it is much slower than it used to be. We ought not be surprised, we are getting older, and have new things that we can and must do. That's just life.
Yet, even with how slow it is, we still come every so often to see one another. I should know. I can be busy, but every month or so, I might think to myself, "I wonder how my friends on LMBE are doing?" and dash over here for a brief visit. Yes, I still call it LMBE.
Even after everything, we're still here. And I wanted to take the time to wish all of my friends here, new and old, whether you came from the original boards, or are new to this fine community, a merry Christmas. May your holidays be bright and full of good cheer. We've had friends depart, old friends return after a long time, and even I still show up sometimes, for better or for worse.
Thank you all for always keeping this place so happy and carefree. And may we all have a merry Christmas!

It's surprising to me that we only really knew each other for a few months. I'm glad I've been able to know you as a friend. 
Goodbye LMBs...
