Sounds quite uncomfortable. Reminds me of those eye flushing fountains you see in chemistry labs.
That makes trip logistics a lot easier. No parking and no hotels required.
Good point. Let all of the new students run into all of the problems first so that you could enjoy it in it's optimal state.
Ah, I see. I'm definitely not a statistics-oriented engineer, though I'm sure I'll run into statistics either way. Maybe some day I'll learn R.
Thankfully I was too young to really know what was going on.
I'm just a little annoyed that I can't take public transit to my parents' new house, because it's too far out in the sticks. If they want me to visit, they have to come get me.
That's an advantage of my 100 year old apartment building, too
I had a very bad experience with R not doing what I wanted it to do earlier this week, so I think I will stick to Python probability and statistics from now on.
I guess that's a good thing that you were oblivious to it.
That's understandable. It seems not enough people go to that area to warrant public transportation. Convenient for you, not so convenient for them.
Interesting. It's not too old to where it's falling apart, or creaking at people's footsteps?
Sounds like a wise choice. Python just works and syntax is very free. I assume R has quite a bit of syntax involved?

More like I was just concerned with "eye hurt"
Well, their neighbor has a giant tractor and a soybean field, so talk about out in the sticks.
The elevator screams a lot, but I think it just needs better lubrication. I haven't had too many complaints so far.
R is pretty good on syntax, somewhere between Java and Python, but it's not necessarily intuitive.

True. Whatever kids understand it as.
Ah, that kind of out there. I don't think I've ever been to a farm before. I've definitely passed by farms, but never actually stopped at one.
Hopefully maintenance can take care of it. I guess it's a worthy apartment that will hopefully last a long time.
Ah, gotcha. Sounds like it won't be too hard to learn, just will take some time to get used to it.
Interesting. I have been to farms. You're not missing a whole lot, in my opinion.
I haven't heard it scream yet tonight, so maybe they poured some WD40 down there. And yes, I'm too lazy to move.
This weekend I have been doing another python workshop for that program I mentioned to you - this time it's on statistics with python. Information overload...

That makes sense. I'd assume it's mainly harvesting crops in the hot sun and tending to animals.
I guess someone took care of it. It'll be a while before it screams again. Hehe, I'd probably be as well unless I find a new place that is actually better.
Ooh, that sounds incredibly interesting. How did it go?

Yes, there's a novelty, but I think it gets kind of repetitive... but who doesn't like seeing baby farm animals
Finding a better place also requires looking for a better place, a task that I don't enjoy a whole lot.
They showed us a lot at once, but since I've been taking stat theory and ML this semester it kind of complemented stuff that's fresh in my mind. I'll definitely have to do more work with the implementations so I can learn that. Python has some very useful packages.

Oh yeah, I forgot about the baby farm animals. That must be really cool to witness.
True. It's probably not worth the trouble as well.
That's awesome. Really nice that it complemented what you already knew well. Sounds like it'll be a lot of fun working with all those packages. Make sure you read the documentation on those packages. I've had my share of running into problems and all of a sudden realizing the solution was addressed in the documentation.

Yes... can't say I want to be a farmer, but there are some nice parts I guess.
Oh come on, everyone knows you read the documentation AFTER you can't make the functions work...
