Hey, haven't seen you around these parts lately. Not that anyone's seen me around these parts either, this just happened to be a well-timed check-in.
Personally I think that LMB.boards would be sufficient enough of a change to avoid a cease and desist or whatever, but I think that it being few years after the end of the LMBs means that it's time to move on from the name, even though it does hurt my heart just a little.
Hey Ben! Nice to see you! Yeah, I don't know that any of the Clone Wars RP crew hangs around here much anymore. I just dropped in because I heard the name change was happening and wanted to see what it was all about. As for the name, it has actually always officially been "LMB Eternal" and not "LEGO Message Boards Eternal" but no one really knows that. The url was chosen to more easily get people here through the moderation of the LMBs.
Ah yes, I have fond memories of using the ol' "put a hidden message in the top of a quoted post" trick.
Frankly, the fact that when I open this website I genuinely do a double take thinking I'm back on the LMBs speaks to how far this site has come, in that originally it was sort of a refuge from the LMBs but now is flourishing in its own right.
It's certainly too bad that many people I joined the board to continue to talk to have moved on, (not that I have any room to talk given this is the first time I've posted in over a year ) but I guess that just how life goes. Hopefully there'll come a time when the great legend of the CWRP can reach an epic conclusion once and for all.

I seem to recall that you nearly missed this site entirely when I sent it to you in big, red letters in CWRP It certainly is neat to see what this little project turned into. Though I doubt CWRP will ever see activity again, since its core members have mostly moved past this site. LMBE was kind of a rollercoaster, as you know better than most people, and it's probably best I leave it behind myself for now. Though, if we could ever get a group together to do some more RPing, I totally would.

You recall correctly, I was way too close to not ever making it here.
I'd be lying if I said I don't think about the LMBs from time to time, and once in a blue moon I might browse the old archives, not really in search of anything, but just to take a break from reality and remind myself of a time when things were much simpler. When my biggest concern in life was trying to figure out how to deal with some OP Sith ability or whatever argument was going on, and not all this stuff with work and paying bills and never having enough time to do the things I enjoy. Like you said though, LMBE was a wild ride when I was a part of it, and I'm glad I was, but I guess there are some things that you eventually gotta leave behind.
My own self reflective rant aside, I'm always game for some RP, whatever form that would take.

I probably read a little bit of the old boards every couple months or so. Usually trying to remember something or just looking for a laugh. (if you haven't read the Psychiatrist's Office from City RP you absolutely should )
I wonder if there would be a way to get some of the old CWRP crew back together for an RP... because just 2 people probably wouldn't go so well

The psychiatrist's office was a blast. Where do I find the archives?

Sounds interesting, I was never in City RP so I'll have to check it out. Unfortunately I don't have the means to get any CWRPers on board but if something were to pop up I'd certainly participate.

In the Welcome to the Community forum there should be a topic called Official LMB Archives or something like that.
