Indeed. Ah yes, I've heard about the British power plug being both a genius piece of electrical engineering and also incredibly painful. I'm guessing you've had your share of experiences of stepping on British power plugs?
Yep, I'm pretty sure I've stepped on one a few times, not a pleasant experience.
That's understandable. Those things look really sharp when facing up. Most US power plugs go straight out from the cable instead of turning 90 degrees, so the prongs are laying flat instead of up most of the time, although I have stepped on them and they still hurt at times.

Yep, the fact that UK power plugs turn 90 degrees up can be a problem, as it's more bulky, but overall, it's not too bad.
Oof, yes, I suppose stepping anything that's made from hard, fairly sharp plastic is agony.
That's awesome!! My parents always stiffen up at the idea of getting a new pet, so you and your family just getting a dog after just meeting her is a foreign concept to me. XD I'm happy for you! I'd love to see a picture of her! How old is she?
(Honestly, yeah, and it doesn't help when people you know turn out to be really toxic. xP) It was amazing! I mean, it was jarring to actually see each other IRL, but then we started chatting about the LMBE and Ninjago and it was just as if we were here.xD It also helped that she's talked to my brother and sister before, so we all already kind of knew each other and had fun hanging out.
Ahh, that's understandable, I guess. The first week or so after we got her, we were wondering if we made a mistake...it took a while to calm that bossy chihuahua attitude down. XD She's about 11/12 weeks old now. We got her when she was 8 weeks, I think. Her ears are kinda floppy but they're beginning to turn into pointy Chihuahua ears. Anyway, here's a picture! Her name is Olivia, but we call her Livvy.
(Oof. Dx) That's so cool!! It sounds like you all really had a great time. I guess if a LMBE conference wouldn't be possible, meeting a close friend is the next best thing. ^^

More bulky, but actually well designed especially should the wires come undone inside the plug.
Pretty much. I guess that's why LEGO bricks hurt so much.
Yay! Now we just need some bowls and spoons and other tools, right?
Yep! When we get back into the kitchen the bowls are in the cupboard and the spoons are in the drawers. Now that we have the ingredients we can make the ice cream!
Yay! *skips to the kitchen and starts getting spoons and bowls out*

*Places all of the ingredients on the table, takes one of the large bowls you brought out and gets organized*
