It's kind of like claiming the throne of the whole kids' empire.
Awesome. Yyyup. xD Ah, the joys of trying to open those things. I remember a couple times when the straw accidentally went through both sides of the pouch. I haven't either actually, but I'm craving one now.
Heh, I think she was a little confused at first. That's a good way to do it. Stale cereal is usually pretty bad. Yes!! On certain days we all have the same snack.
Such a scary yet big responsibility, but everyone wants to be the chosen one.
Yep. Ooh, that's hard to work with. Sometimes those straws just don't cooperate the way you want them to for a simple drink. Hehe. If only we had more juice boxes around the house.
Ah, I see. At least she could get her cereal back. Agreed. It gets dry and hard to eat, but at least I ate it while it was still fresh. Perfect! One day it will be cereal, another day would be goldfish, and another day would be candy.
The chosen one... O.O This just got very deep and existential. Maybe there's a whole hierarchy within the kid's table.
Indeed. Yeah, I don't think we have any either unfortunately.
Yeah. We could make out a whole schedule and have a Snack Club or Food Critic Club or -- something like that. XDD

Ooh, a hierarchy. A leader in the center, some advisors around them, and guards at the door to prevent adults from coming in. This reminds me of one of my favorite Cartoon Network TV shows called Codename: Kids Next Door.
Yeah. Now I just have small soymilk cartons now which are a brand I really enjoyed as a kid. Ah well. Maybe next time.
Perfect. Maybe we could have it right here with like a "Childhood snack of the week" or something.

Oooh, perfect setup. There's a show similar to this?? That's epic.
Heh, and they're difficult to open, too?
That's a great idea!!! I love that. Maybe we could come up with a day to announce it each week? I guess we could do it on Mondays.

Awesome. Kind of. Codename: Kids Next Door was about the kids having a secret agency to defeat villains, and they had a whole system of leaders and management for each sector of the world, and even agent numbers for each character.
Kind of. You just need to make sure you don't squeeze the carton while you stab the straw through the foil seal.
Perfect! To start this week, I guess we can start with goldfish since we just had it! Although, I'm not sure how many snacks we can name before we run out.

Oh, that's awesome! It sounds like a really fun concept.
Ah, I see. I think I've had that problem sometimes with apple juice cartons too.
I was thinking the same thing. Hmm...we probably will run out eventually, but I guess we could also use drinks and maybe repeat some things after we run out.

It was really clever and it's a series I never fully finished. I've probably seen the ending, and some of the beginning, but I've never seen it from start to finish. The whole theme of it definitely fits in with what we're doing in this chatroom.
That makes sense. Seems like anything about portable drinks in cartons or pouches is clever but hard to actually use.
Perfect. We can start... today I guess since it's now Monday for you and me. Good idea. Drinks would be good too, maybe a soda, juice, or other sweet beverage on some weeks.
My friend bun02 and I had an interesting idea to run a chatroom that's about being a kid, because I think we can all agree our childhoods were some of the most precious and most action-packed times we could have in our lives. We may only be a kid once, but as bun02 cleverly suggested for the name of this chatroom, we can still be young at heart.
Rules: Kid's stuff only! No discussion about school, college, work, etc. Otherwise you will be banished... TO THE GROWN-UP'S TABLE. Same LMBE rules apply.
With all that out of the way, come on in!
We got Disney music playing in the background, a bin of LEGO bricks in the center to build something, and crayons and markers to color with in the basket. (Don't worry, these are magical crayons and markers that don't run out!)
Pull up a chair, open your lunchbox, and let's chat about fun kid's topics like toys, kid's TV shows, kid's movies, and other activities you did when you were a kid!
*walks over to table and takes out a box of Duplo bricks*
