I like the lore with the serpentine rules about hybrids and the dream about his parents.
Something that needed to be addressed in missing ideas of lore, i know im learning more about the canon serpentine lore and adding to my ideas too, so yeah. Thanx for the compliment! :3
It was hard sleeping that night, tossing and turning, numerous dreams becoming horrid nightmares. My mind being garrulous about my adoptive father, what did they do to him, did they kill him? Im lost and confused, I cannot do this without my father! My mind raced with thoughts and words that plunged me more into worry and despair, it was only until a massive nightmare that broke me free of my slumber. I’d gasped and jut up, almost hitting my head on the top bunk’s support beams, luckily I didn’t wake up anyone else in that room. I’d peer around and silently slither out of my bunk to go out and do something.
I’d come outside to the Deck of the Bounty, we were rested atop a mountain peak that overlooked Ninjago City in the distance. The glowing warm lights that looked inviting yet dangerous. I’d stare out longingly into the glowing metropolis before hearing a sound. I’d grunt and looked round, hearing it again, it sounded familiar. It took me a few seconds to realize, it was Zane’s Falcon. It flowed and hovered before me, staring me in the eyes, the robotic Falcon soon turned round and began flying in the direction of Ninjago City. I’d gasped and knew following this bird gave me and my friends a good time finding out things... this bird may help me find my father... whats left of him anyhow...
It was a semi long trek down the steep mountain slopes, but at least father taught me a thing or two about mountain climbing... he somberly told me it was a way to cope with the death of his mother, how... heartbreaking it is to do what dad did when he was distancing himself away from his mother’s loss... but i’d soon reach the base of the mountain and followed the robotic bird into the city limits and soon the rest of the City. Might as well stop by Miles Slytherin’s Shop just to catch up with him, maybe he may know if father is safe or not, at least he know him well, too.
Being back in this city is often giving me mixed memories, the memories of being taken in by father, being in that snake shop, and on that stealth mission that may have jeopardized my father’s safety... it’s all overwhelming to me...
But at least the Falcon’s guiding me...
As the day was rising and the city rising from it’s slumber, the Falcon had guided me to the aforementioned Snake Shop directly. I think the Falcon is taking.a rest from all that flight and I accept this robotic nirvana’s break for now. I’d see Miles in his work uniform and apron, sweeping the street away of what was twinkling broken glass and what remained of protest signs. It came to me that Miles’ shop was attacked by anti-serpentine protesters during the night. This is his home as well, why desecration isn’t a good way to voice your welled up hate for one race!
Miles panted and wiped his brow, sighing in defeat before i walked over to him.
“Miles, hey Miles! I see the people of Ninjago City really don’t like this place don’t they? I can see it by the slurs of grafiti on your shop walls...” I said crossing my arms. Looking around the place, glad they didn’t actually burn this place down, im fairly lucky, but Mr. Slytherin however, isn’t.
“Gee Whiz, Soto” he said, “Whats the issue with loving anthropomorphic snakes?! Th-they done nothing wrong!” He said out, trying to hard not to throw his broom down in anger, I sighed from his rather flawed but sympathetic viewpoint of the issue.
“First the Serpentine themselves attack now citizens harboring your public vendetta? Geez, people these days arent what they used to be back then... i mean, the First Spinjitzu Master created us to co-habit this land with you humans too...” I say remorseful, holding his shoulder, Miles whined and stifled tears.
“My family is being witch-hunted, Ryen! The people of Ninjago City are going to try me in court for all of this!” He huffed and then dropped his broom. “Why, i would use your like and image to help me defend myself! I’ll look crazy if I weren’t backed up by a Serpentine himself!”
I’d simply nodded and noticed the Falcon wasn’t at it’s perch of a Streetlight, i’d frowned and quickly left his side, he turned and looked confused. “H-hey where are you going, Mr, Soto?!”
“Im following what may have happened to my father!!” I shout back at him.
I don’t remember this clearly, but he told me he was now very worried... about my father too...
Running down an alleyway at full tilt, i looked for that Elusive Falcon again, growling and looking around numerous intersecting alleys. I’d hiss under my breath, “Where is Zane’s Turkey at now...” to myself and huff. I’d take the nearest entrance into the sewers that was available and decided to descend into it. It was a familiar smell and aight to behold as im now back where i started from and remembering what i had caused the night before, it only made me shiver.
I raced myself to get out of the sewers and into the subway after putting two and two together, i may find father out in the same place where he had disappeared from, and i thought it was the correct answer. That was very well proven when i heard the Falcon behind me, flying right past me in the direction i was headed. I’d smile and look content. “Alrighty there my feathered friend, lead the way to my father!” I hissed out as we raced ahead in the long tunnel... that was actually inhabited by a train thats coming from behind! Yeah thats not a good sign... if the vibrations in the ground weren’t enough, i’d could hear the echos of trundling cars, the clicking and clattering of wheels on rail! Then the might HHHHHHOOOOON, HOOOOOOONNNN of it’s horn! I’d look behind myself and saw a bright light flying to us.
“Oh hoLY BRRIIIIICK!!!” I’d screamed out and soon took a dive into the nearest alcove near me, feeling the thunder of rolling metal fly by me in a blur of speed, the wind flowing my clothes well, it was only for a few seconds before it left out of my sight! I’d panted and knelt down on one knee dazed, wiping my brow.
“Dad told me when rails are rumblin’, a train’s a-comin’...” I said to myself before getting up, noting the Falcon is... gone again...
“Well that robot will make great roadkill anyhow...” I said again, soon picking back up my pace now heading guideless into the depths of Ninjago City’s Underground, unawares of anything that may harm me in the future... at least not emotionally i thought...

You're welcome. ^v^ I've always thought there was so much more that could be explored about the serpentine. So it's cool that your story does.
...I had been running for what seems like an endless tube of darkness and despair, it was lonely and smelly down here, somewhat harmful to some of my sense. I looked into my biorhythms for anything to feel, nothing, not a single soul. I managed to find the remains of what was left of Zane's robotic falcon though, I'd only bow in respect to in to the busted bird bot and thank him for the help, continuing furthermore. It was only another hour of wandering until a managed to find a familiar outcropping of the area, the same place where I endangered everyone on that one mission a few nights ago. Yeah... I really don't wanna think about it or even remember it...
But I had managed to find myself at a possible dead end, until I noticed something glimmering in the dark off somewhere in the corner of the large echo chamber of trains. It looked scythe shaped to me. It looked familiar, something that reminded me of Father... it couldn't be... "Wait a second... that glow and weapon...!", I had said to myself. Soon sprinting to it, and then I began feeling a very faint biorhythm, I'd slow down my sprint and cautiously approach the glowing object. But as soon i was able to touch it, it was instantaneously recognizable!
"No way...! The Golden Sythe of Quakes... D-Dad's weapon! I... I... Sh-should I even be wielding this powerful weapon myself...?" I had asked myself. It wasn't harming me on contact, it was a little heavy, but not too much. I'd only did around a little more digging until the scythe's glow began to start up and slowly grow in power, I'd grunt and noticed something odd. There was a misty golden energy wisp thing wafting away from weapon, I'd looked at it and began to follow it. Unaware of what grim sight it would bring to me... But I followed it... like it was trying to actively tell me something. I never knew the Golden Weapons of Spinjitzu had this weird ability... well I understand little about them... but this was unprecedented! The wispy energy soon led me to a large red steel door on the catwalk I was located on a while back, the energy had died out and the weapon's glow dimmed...
"...Is this where... he is...?" I'd say, reaching for the Handle.
Very interesting. I have a bad feeling about what he's going to find though... O.O

Well, it sure was a concerning feeling. Dread. I had no idea what was behind this door but one thing’s for sure... it’s a very dead feeling im getting from this. But i just hissed loudly and opened the door with force, yanking it round’ before forcing my Golden Scythe into the room, it’s glow gently illuminating the room. I’d soon looked in the room itself thoroughly... nothing in there. This didn’t feel right...
Something absolutely didn’t feel right, i kept wandering in the darkness dimly lit by the Golden Scythe, i soon stepped on something and made a light clang. I’d yip and soon stumble and then trip, falling flat on my back. That was rough, but i soon hovered the Scythe over the object i tripped on... and it was an article of clothing that had armor on it. A ninja Mask with a silver tri-pointed bit on the forehead. It soon instantly became reconizable, that was my father’s mask!
”Good God... what have they done—“ I’d say before picking it up, i’d turn my head, and the rest of the ZX Suit father wore was all there, scattered about, worn and looking tatered in some places. Said tatering was due to Claw marks and acid-burns and such... they must’ve interrogated him and may have gone in the path of his death, the unthinkable...
“This... what... how c-could this even happen?! What did i do to deserve this?!” I say in heart-breaking worry, this... this was a hard part to write down, i remember this very well, how could you not forget the possible death of your own loved one?! Especially if it was carried out by two snakes that resented you and gave this as some twisted sense of justice against me?! But nevertheless, i picked up all articles of clothing that belonged to my father and held them in my arms, i’d stare at them longingly, wondering what it’s like to be in them...
“F-father I... I... this is in no mean of desecration, this is a tribute to you... if you really are dead...” I’d mournfully said before putting the ZX Gi down holding the mask before me. It was very tempting, i’ve never been in my father’s own suit before. But i worked up the courage, closed my eyes, and soon down on the mask in tribute to the Black Ninja.
It was a bit of a hassle to get it on my Serpent Head, especially with the Head Spike-blades on the top of my head, i’d wince and growl before hearing a fabric tearing noise and it soon slipped fully onto my head. I’d groan out in annoyance and embarrassment, i’ve ruined dad’s mask trying to put it on! But... as it was on, i felt more hidden, more silent, more in touch with my surroundings... i’d took a long breath and that feeling of euphoria hit me, my sense of the ground ever shifting beneath my feet intensified, and i could feel biorhythms of people above me... this suit, if it was possibly blessed, it enhanced my senses, and frankly, it was amazing!
“W-Woah... this—this feels awesome.” I’d say to myself, adjusting the fit on my head, feeling around my snout, adjusting it so i can see out of the eyeslot better. Felt like i was in a movie with the black bars above and below the main view. Tunnel vision inna sense. But i’d soon look down to the rest of the clothes and a smile drew across my face, well guess im really allowing myself to really be his son now. I have worn my own Gi before, but this, Father’s real deal, it was so comfortable and breathable and—well, i should be thanking the clothing manufacturers for this! But im getting ahead of what i was doing! But i’d quickly took off my old clothes i wore all the way here, the same clothes used to meet Lou. And i quickly gotten in my Father’s ZX Gi. Once fully on, armor and everything, i felt much more powerful in a sense. Sure it was a bit long for my arms and short for my legs, it all fit me very well and i really wanted to see myself in some reflection.
So i picked up the Golden Scythe and gazed at my suited self. Stunning.
“Weeeeellll, i look VERY good in dad’s suit!” I said, chuckling to myself before getting serious.”But now, off to continue my search for him, im not believing he’s dead yet... im not giving up.” I said, nodding to myself, absolutely invigorated to do this thang, Cole’s not dead in my heart, he still lives, like a certain guy from this popular computer game series i played when i was young. But nevertheless, i can’t wait to see the looks on the crew’s faces when they see me in my best!

Man it's been a big while since i continued this, Feel like rebooting it, AGAIN, since i can't seem to be satisfied with my own story-making. Plus Ryen's just a lil' too edgy at times? A story like this is better on my FA profile than anything sitting here.
