I've never taken part in an RP before, so I might just choose a less consequential character to get my sea-legs so to speak. As well, since this is (as I understood it to be) a spoof of the trilogy, and not an earlier, more unknown piece, deities don't make much of an appearance, unless referenced by elrond.
