I saw the episode containing the anime--Episode 19 of Season 11--and I have to say my honest reaction is:
wut
Also, it looks bizarre and serves no plot-furthering purpose, which bugs me to no end....
Where did you see it? It’s not out yet on Xfinity onDemand.
Where’ve you been for the entirety of Season 11? I’m still debating on whether or not I want to accept it as canon..
I saw it on YouTube. New episodes come out every Saturday (except for one where they were delayed for news) in Malaysia, and conveniently in English. Normally they're up by Friday night for me since the U.S. is far behind time-wise.
I've been around, but not posting too much. I'd be delighted to run over the canon vs. non-canon debate with you. =P

It's probably gonna be a scene where they go through dimensional portals or something and are briefly seen in a bunch of different animation styles. I'm coming back to this post if my prediction turns out to be correct. Also, if that is the case, I hope there will also be a bit where they're animated in stop-motion, with the actual minifiguress.

Unfortunately your prophetic powers are not quite up to par, but keep it up anyway. =P
I'm guessing some writer was stuck in a room late at night attempting to come up with filler material and decided, somehow, that Fugi-Dove was a funny enough name to keep viewers interested. =P

Or to keep them confused enough to stick around to see if the name will be explained.
So it turns out that there's more than one episode that contains anime. Episode 24, in addition to episode 19, is mostly animated in the anime style. It still looks weird to me. =P
