Having childhood arachnophobia, you made me look this one up. Surprisingly, although your fact is true, there's a lot more about camel spiders than meets the eye. (If you're not turning your eyes away in fear and horror, that is.)
There is no single species of "camel spider". The term describes an order of arachnids, which comprises 13 families, and over 1000 different species.
Camel spiders are not spiders. They are also known as wind scorpions: despite this, they are not scorpions either. They are their own order of arachnid, also called solifugae.
Camel spiders are the arachnids with the fastest top land speed, but this was exaggerated in an April Fools chain email from 2004 as 25 mph. Other claims in this email said that they are as large as a full-grown man's calf, have a powerful paralytic and necrotizing venom, can jump six feet high, will chase humans down as prey, and will scream like a banshee while they run towards you. Absolutely none of that is true: camel spiders don't even have venom! Certain photos of them also exaggerate their size with perspective tricks.
It is believed that Shakespeare was 46 around the time that the King James Version of the Bible was written. In Psalms 46, the 46th word from the first word is shake and the 46th word from the last word is spear.
The roar that we hear when we place a seashell next to our ear is not the ocean, but rather the sound of blood surging through the veins in the ear. Any cup-shaped object placed over the ear produces the same effect.
Did you know that scammer businesses make like 60,000$ a month? If I remember the stats correctly.
Clearly I'm in the wrong business
No, don't. It's not worth your moving to India and having to break the law, and not to mention, once you're in, they own you basically. You betray them they have no problems with death-threats... I would just stay safe if I were you.

(Welcome to the TBB Tie! )
It's just mean to try and scare people like that! I'm upset with those April Fools pranksters. These were all interesting facts tho. I had no idea that it wasn't a spider!
