I have had this idea, LITERALLY forever, but just finally got down to posting it. XD I won't qualify this as a chatroom, or a game, but maybe both. >:3
The rules are simple:
1. Carry on conversations as best you can, using nothing but Disney quotes. Pixar, live-action, TV shows and all WDAS quotes are accepted; and if you must, Marvel and Star Wars are accepted on occasion. Just don't make every quote one of them, or I'll boot ya off to one of those forums.
2. You may not use any quote in succession with its corresponding one. What this means is that if someone gives you aquote which is said by one character during a conversation, you are not allowed to use the quote that the other character says in response to the first one. In other words, no two quotes can match up the way they do in a movie.
3. In most instances, you'll need to cite only the character's name after a quote. If your quote is from a more obscure character or from someone who shares a name with a character in another film, then it might be wise to cite the movie as well. (Quoting Rhino from Bolt, you may want to add the movie, because sadly our hamster friend here isn't all that well-known. Quoting Simba, you shouldn't need to add the movie, because everybody already knows who it is. And if you don't, well, that's a whole different discussion we need to have.) You won't get in trouble for disobeying this rule though. The other person can always ask if they're curious about the source.
4. Pardon my nitpicking corrections in quotes, and also pardon any errors I make myself. XD If you need to speak out of quotes for a minute, just put OOQ or something, I dunno.
It's all pretty simple, although I just made it sound complicated. XD I'm sure this idea exists in other forums, so it shouldn't be too hard.
