Characters in Riders of Paladeen
At Paladeen – Retired Riders Hithrol Jiwovz: Hithrol founded the Riders alongside his Companion, Olifin, and currently leads the group, controlling most of the day-to-day operations, though he no longer goes on missions. Hithrol is married to Tya and their children are Dernis, Maicyn, and Kira. He is a human man. Olifin: Olifin founded the Riders alongside his Rider, Hithrol, and currently leads the flight training for all the dragons as well as other Companions and their Riders. Like Hithrol, he no longer joins missions. Aretgarlja is his daughter. Olifin is a male Mountain Dragon. Tya Jiwovz: Tya is the Companion of Kaigan and the primary diplomatic liaison for the Riders, overseeing all operations and agreements with external powers and entities. She is married to Hithrol and their children are Dernis, Maicyn, and Kira. Tya is a human woman. Kaigan: Kaigan and his Rider, Tya, are currently retired from missions, though their diplomatic responsibilities often entail travel. When he is at a Paladeen, Kaigan helps to manage finances for the Riders. He is a male Forest Dragon. Zariana: Zariana retired from missions after she lost her direwolf Companion and has long been the official master of combat training, primarily assisting new Riders but also helping more seasoned members to hone their skills. She is a Vampyre woman. Eldren Mystri: Eldren never had a proper Companion but made up for this deficiency with his magical talents. He has been retired from missions for several years and now spends his time training his fellow Riders in archery and magic. Eldren is an elven man.

At Paladeen – Active Riders
Dernis Jiwovz: Dernis is the son of Hithrol and Tya and has lived among the Riders his entire life. He has been a Rider for a few years but has yet to go on any missions. With their deep knowledge of the history and culture of the Riders, Dernis and his Companion, Aretgarlja, often instruct new Riders in their non-combat duties and skills. Dernis is a human man.
Aretgarlja: Aretgarlja is the daughter of Olifin and grew up with the Riders alongside her Compaion, Dernis. They have yet to go on a full mission, and Aretgarlja often helps Dernis to tutor new Riders. She is a female Mountain Dragon.
Sanstos*: Sanstos is the longest-serving Rider currently active and his Companion is a pegasus named Lightspeed. Sanstos is a Falkrion man.
Rhyg*: Rhyg and his Companion, Talon, are among the group of Riders that joined during the period of low membership several years ago. He has minor magical skills. Rhyg is an orcish man.
Talon*: Talon and his Rider, Rhyg, have worked extensively to try to recruit new Riders. He is a male Mountain Dragon.
Jahna*: Jahna and her Companion, a griffin named Skkyganoer, are part of the current core of active Riders. She has minor magic skills. Jahna is a dwarven woman.
Mara*: Mara and her Companion, Luma, were unusually old when they joined the Riders, but are nonetheless valuable members of the team. Mara is an elven woman.
Luma*: Luma, whose Rider is Mara, is considered the wisest of the current Riders and is appreciated for her sound advice. She is a female Forest Dragon.

At Paladeen – Non-Riders Maicyn Jiwovz: Maicyn is the middle child of Hithrol and Tya and she bears a striking resemblance to her aunt Alis, who was smashed in an ill-advised mission many years ago. She is almost old enough to join the Riders by her parents’ rules but has yet to find a Companion. Maicyn is a young human woman. Kira Jiwovz: Kira is the youngest child of Hithrol and Tya and possesses a tremendous magical talent. She is a human girl. Obsar: Obsar is the chief blacksmith and master of the armory at Paladeen. Little is known about his past besides that he hails from a land far to the south. Obsar is a goblin man. Galtaluana Rex: Galtaluana, who prefers to go by Galta, is a younger daughter in one of the farming families near Paladeen. She spends as much time as possible at Paladeen proper with her best friend, Kira. Galta is a human girl. Unai: Unai is the head of Paladeen’s staff and as such is responsible for almost everyone there who isn’t a Rider, reporting directly to Hithrol. Unai is a human man.
More characters will probably be added here as they are introduced. Depending on how far the RP gets, I'll also add one or several posts for characters outside of Paladeen.
