I don't even remember what I did on my last birthday.
Were they so generic and uneventful that they deserved no spot in your memory banks, or were they so horrifying and emotionally traumatizing that you mentally shut out all memories of your birthdays? 0.0
The former. I stopped getting super excited for events like birthdays and Christmases after I realized you always got a letdown afterwards because it could never fully live up to your expectations.

Oof. Yeah, high expectations have a bad habit of doing that to ya. xP I think I stopped really looking forward to my birthday when I realized it meant I was getting older.
Wow, I'd be tired, too. A relaxing birthday is very good.
Do you remember what you did on your 13th birthday? ( If you already answered this I wouldn't know since I missed a lot of pages. )
Yeah--it was one of my better ones. We visited a small farm where the owner allowed us to play with the newborn kittens, chase the piglet, walk around with the ponies, and hold the baby chicks and duckling. No fancy party, I didn't have friends coming over, no big birthday cake, no confetti, no fuss, just a bunch of smelly animals. . . and I had never been happier. (No worries, I can't remember if I answered this or not. )

You're not supposed to be worried about growing old until waaaay later.
