It does, I guess. I just typed "every four years" before I remembered Winter, and I didn't want to go back. I think they should add curling to the Summer games. Once every four years isn't enough.

It most certainly is based off Hamlet. Producers referred to it as "Bambi in Africa with Hamlet thrown in," or "Bramlet." The similarities are quite stunning.
