Bricking Luke Skywalker!!!!!! Are you mad! I know hes a little annoying/whiny in episode 4 and the same plus miserable in the Last Jedi but aside from that hes one of the best for sure even if he is the character who represents/stands in for the audience/viewer on the journey.
No, no, no, Luke is great, I said Luuke Skywalker and Luuuke Skywalker, his non-canon clones.
Just thought I should clarify, Luuuke with 3 u's is actually from a parody story, not canon within the Legends continuity. The story was basically Timothy Zahn poking fun at his own writing from the '90s.
DJ: a pointless and useless double crossing Lando copy/stand in when it should have been Lando that they needed to find on Canto Bight in the Last Jedi. Hello, Canto Bight is a Casino wrold and Lando is a pro Sabacc player/gambler as well as running a large casino on cloud city. He also has that really annoying stupid and unnecessary snake stutter to add character or laughs. I dont know but it doesn't make him seem cool, its a shame cos I love Benico Del Toro.
Ki Adi Mundi: Smug and over the top. He has a stupid philosophy. He doesn't believe in luck yet he believes in the force which influences luck and destiny ????Where is the logic there. He also gives of the impression that hes a perfect clean cut orthodox Jedi yet he is clearly breaking the code because the creep has multiple wives.
Mary Rey Sue: So poorly and unconvincingly acted by Daisy Ridley in both episode 8 & 9 its shameful.
Rose: She is pointless and annoying especially getting herself in the way and perhaps permanently messing up the potentially interesting Rey/Finn romance. She a boring engineer for bricks sake.
They are in no particular order because I consider them all really bad.
I agree with all of these except Ki-Adi Mundi, and MaRey Sue is definitely my number 1 least favorite Star Wars character. However, I've heard that having multiple wives is part of Ki-Adi Mundi's species' culture, and he pretty much had an obligation to marry.

Mon Mothma She's annoying and patronizing, as Gree42ndlegion put it. She didn't fight for the Alliance, she just told everyone what do to in her condescending way. DJ It should have been Lando. Not some annoying Lando-copycat with a stupid, pointless, infuriating stutter. Seriously, every single time he stutters, I just want to slap him across the face, preferably with a lightsaber. That, and he, like so much of the sequel trilogy, was a copy-paste from the original trilogy. Why, Disney. Snoke They could have done SO MUCH with him but they didn't. He was there, he was evil, then he was dead and then we saw many of him floating in tanks in Palpatine's evil lair. Terrible villain. He had a lot of potential but that potential was wasted. Qui-gon Jinn In addition to having a stupid beard and silly hair, this guy literally is the reason Darth Vader existed. If it weren't for him, the galaxy would have been at peace and Anakin would have lived and died a normal life on Tatooine. Now, yes, Star Wars wouldn't exist without Vader and the war and therefore without Qui-gon, but in canon, he caused so much disaster and conflict. Plus, he talks about midi-chlorians. I hate midi-chlorians more than...pretty much everything, actually. Sheev Palpatine Wait, stop, don't go, just hear me out first. OK. Palpatine a really poor character, in my opinion, because he's just evil. Palpatine is evil, evil is Palpatine, but not in a good villain way, in a not-even-human-so-unrelatable sort of way. I like villains who still have humanizing traits, who aren't just pure incarnations of evil. Palpatine has no good traits that I can think of, and not really even a weakness, at least.
I shouldn't even have to explain this one. XD Jar-Jar was the most unnecessary character ever, even more so than Rose. He adds nothing good to the movies and if he were to be cut out of the films altogether, basically nothing would change, except Palpatine would get his "emergency powers" some other way and there would be less for me to complain about (since, obviously, the one thing SW fan hate more than SW haters, is Star Wars itself. xD)
Commander D'acy
I swear this has nothing to do with the fact that her face is seventy-three percent nose and twenty-seven percent a lack of chin! But, um, I hope this won't ruin episode nine for any of you, but did anyone notice that scene at the end of The Rise of Skywalker? Where D'acy is kissing another woman? Yeah. Hate her.
Admiral Holdo
Part of why I cannot stand her, is because I want to like her. I mean, she epically sacrificed herself for the Resistance! It was awesome! But she's ridiculous. She says the most unnecessary, absurd things. She's a jerk to Poe (which, he kinda deserves, lol) and she's just...more annoying and condescending than Mon Mothma.
Commander Cody
He murdered Boga so I hate him. No further explanation needed.
These characters come in no particular order, but Jar-Jar and D'acy I definitely dislike more. I feel like someone's missing form the list, for some reason, but I'm not sure who. XD

Okay, I can definitely agree with that reasoning for hating Cody. Boga is like top 10 characters of all time.

To be continued . . .
Mon Mothma in Disney canon sucks, but she's an alright character in the Thrawn Trilogy, when Garm Bel Iblis figured out why she's the way that she is.
Also, it's not really Qui-gon's fault, when it was literally the Force/destiny that unconsciously forced him (no pun intended) to recruit Anakin; Anakin was actually the Chosen One, and restored Balance to the Force by destroying both the Jedi and Sith.
Palpatine is... yeah, yet another character who's more compelling in "Legends" then in Disney canon, or so I've heard.

Bruhhhhh..... I agree with all of these (well, maybe not that D'acy person, since I haven't seen IX, and don't plan to ), except my man Cody! He had no choice but to fire on Obi-wan, because of the inhibitor chip activating for Order 66. Also, I could be wrong, but I've heard that in the Revenge of the Sith novelization, the Boga survived the fall and just swam back to the shore, like Obi-wan.
Who are your top 10 least favorite Star Wars characters? You can say your reasons why and write dishonorable mentions.
10.Saw Gerrara 9.Commander Fox 8.Commander Appo 7. Rush Clovis 6. Tarkin (Clone Wars) 5. Jar Jar binks 4. Zeb 3. Ziro The hutt 2.Ezra Bridger 1. BB-8
yes BB-8 is my least favorite Star Wars character because he took artoo’s place and is just a merchandising tool oh and unfunny.(possibly my least favorite thing about the sequel trilogy)
Hmm, well I suppose in my case it isn't which do I deem the worst, but rather characters with potential that have been thrown about endlessly as copycats of previous characters or just sitting there acting annoying.
***
Admiral Holdo: Really should have established her leadership skills beforehand. For example, Poe had previously been lead under her command and they had formed a bond of trust, but her present secrecy about the plan shakes Poe to the core as it is unusual for her to behave this way. He then finally comes to the conclusion that she is committing treason, but learns that she didn't want to tell Poe about her sacrifice because she knew he would stop her and do it himself even though he is an important Resistance asset. Would deal with both her and Poe having to mature as leaders without completely derailing Poe's character and making Holdo look like a foolish leader.
Snoke: Really disliked him mainly for being thrown away...not saying it didn't meet my expectations, only just wanted a little more characterization that would have really drive home the idea of him being the personification of Kylo's tether to the Dark Side. I mean it is what they were trying to go for, but failed at halfway. He was set up for failure anyway, because if they didn't want another Sheev they should have gone with Lucas' original villain.
Rose Tico: I'm going to need a separate post for her...

Second post regarding Rose Tico...
Rose Tico: Another character with a good base, but entirely bad execution. If they had instead gone deep into her relationship with her sister (the pilot that pressed the button to deploy the bombs) she could have been amazing. I mean, why did they forget about her sister in exchange for Finn?
How about instead, we showed in the beginning of the film her prepping her sister for the battle and they share a hug. Then after the sister sacrifices herself, Rose could see the spy mission as a way of honoring her sister and living up to her sacrifice. There could be an exchange with Finn, explaining that on the cruel mining planet where she is from, her sister always stood up for her and provided for her and now its her turn to do the same. That could open up Finn's eyes. (Though he already went through this character arc in the first film.)
Even the final attempted sacrifice at the end could have been elevated if they were working from this point. (Though personally, I believe Holdo should have had a group of fighters protect evacuees and Rose could have been one of the fighters, just brainstorming though. We needed an ending where it would be "Like Poetry...it rhymes".) I mean, just imagine a finale where Rose, holding onto her the other half of her sister's necklace, completes the dangerous mission her sister started. *chef's kiss*

Not to mention when Rose kissed Finn without consent.
