"Okay. That'll be jus' a couple minutes." She returns to the kitchen.
While he's waiting he watches the group of men to pass the time.

after a while she asks. "Do you have any medication for horses around?"
"Sure. What's the matter?"

They have long since finished their meals and are now just talking and laughing with one another. He gets the sense that they come here often. After some time, the girl returns, carrying his stew.

"Sure. What's the matter?"
"It's a cut on his leg." *Points to a gash on the horses foreleg* "He got it a few days ago. And I'v been medicating it but now I'm out of herbs."
