Many of you will never see this. Most that do, I suspect, will be either disinterested or too busy to pay it much attention. But, given the import of what I have to say, I want to ensure all of you have the chance to receive this information. This world is dying. Activity in the Castle RP dwindled and then began to fall of significantly well over a year ago. I tried to give things a jumpstart with my soft reboot, and that worked for a time, but that too was over a year ago and the RP has been flatlining for months. Exiting the Xain Invasion Event and entering the relatively clean slate that was the reboot, I had a great many plans for stories I wanted to tell with this RP and ideas for how I could make them happen in light of its decline. I failed. Many of you tried to move events forward with me, but nothing moved fast enough and eventually each of you departed. I had hopes of completing a few events despite the losses, but it has become clear recently that that will not happen. Now, I intend to change that. Over the course of the next few weeks (i.e., my winter break), I plan to complete all outstanding and anticipated plotlines and bring a true conclusion to the events of this RP. I will be moving quickly, furthering the story through large chunks in order to finish it quickly. If any of you are capable, I invite you to join me, to help me complete the stories of your characters or to pick up the characters whose users are unable to participate. After the completion of these storylines, I plan to once again lock all the active topics. I will make new topics that will reflect the new status quo and allow you to continue with your characters if you so desire. I will not be running any more Events, though someone else could if they chose to. Ultimately, if anyone chooses to continue in the RP, I will give you this world to explore however you would like, with myself as guide if you wish.
Thank you all for your participation in my little world. Let the end begin.
Rightly predicted, I've gotten to this late. My apologies, for I'd have liked to continue in this game if I had any flair for role-playing. Though I thank you for accommodating me for that little time, and give you permission to use my only character, Karthon, should you need fodder for the remaining story. If not, he will be somewhere out of way of travellers, wandering the wilds.
At least you got here eventually. I understand, and I appreciate that. Karthon does have an important role to play, so I will be moving forward with him. Where he goes afterward, we shall see.

It's a little late, but I'm interested in finishing things if their is still stuff to finish up... That I don't completely ruin... Yeah, looking back at Darthraxx, I really took things too far. doubling the armies of the Dragon Knights was not something I should have done, and Rojinn wasn't great either... sorry about that stuff.
Tul Generas of the Orcs, Darthraxx of the dragon Knights. I RP, and have lots of fun.

Welcome back! You definitely bent some rules, but don't feel too bad, because we'd probably have lost to the Xains without that.
It's definitely not too late to jump into the story line, since we're only about halfway through what I had planned, but there is one problem. Since so many (actually, all, at this point) of the old members were gone, I decided it would be a fun idea to write a send-off for those characters in the form of intermittent, story-like chapters describing the quest they've been on for the past year. Naturally, this included Darthraxx and Rojinn. You can check out what's happened so far in the Endless Sea topic.
Of course, now that you're back, I'm not quite sure what do do, since I've already settled in the quest I'm writing as canon. While there is room for Darthraxx to return afterwards, this would not be until the RP story line ends. You are free to take the reigns on Lord Amvion (formerly Shamrock's character, currently leading the Dragon Knights) or Xavic, since I've been controlling them for a while. You are also welcome to make a new character. And, of course, since Darthraxx is your character, you can still bring him back in if that's what you want to do. I'll just have to adjust my plans accordingly.

Wow that brought back memories. No, that looks like a fitting end to Darthraxx's story. I'm good just disappearing again, though if you wanted to write a more proper story of the whole arc that's condensed and all that (starting the Tower of Time and then continuing on), I'd love to read something like that.

I would love to do something like that if I find the time eventually; I'll be sure to tag you if I do.
Glad to hear it. And keep reading, because Darthraxx has a huge role to play in the end. It would be great if you stuck around and helped me wrap things up, but if you're sure I understand. In any case, it was great to see an old face again. Thanks for helping to make this RP what it was.

Hello, My activity here has been dwindling for what feels like forever, and due to increased time contraints I dropped out the RP some months ago without giving proper notice (for which I apologise unreservedly.) I remain busy, but due to recent IRL events I think I should be able to devote a sufficient amount of time to maintain a small presence here as the roleplay draws to a close. I am aware that the process is well underway by this point, but if there is is any role left that I might fill or any other way in which I might be of assistance, I would be delighted and indebted to you if I could step back in and help wrap things up.

I understand; life is busy. I'm glad to hear it! At this point, I have Lord Demiu off on a final adventure, which you can read about in the Endless Sea topic. You are always free to step back in as Lucas, Daniel, and/or Valerie, but be advised the first two are in a lot of the action at the moment, so if you're not sure how much time you have, Lady Valerie is your best bet. You have Lord Amvion as well, but his situation is a little complex at the moment, so that would also probably require a bit more time. So it's up to you as to which characters you want to work with; just let me know.

I think I'll just take Lady Valerie; all the others seem to be in good hands, and I've no wish to cause unncessary disruption by taking back too many characters while I'm still unsure whether I have time for more than one.
I must say, I never expected to see many of the names in the Endless Sea advaneture again. I'll be reading with interest.

Okay, I'll get something posted for you in the Lion Knights HQ when I get the time.
That's good to hear. I've had a lot of fun writing this story for these characters.
