A big thanks to everybody who helped me work on the Regna Disud lore. If anyone still wants to contribute something, I'll remain open to suggestions. I'm making this post because I have another section of lore I want you guys to help me build up - the Frigid North. This is supposedly quite a large region, though little of it can be seen on the map, and I've decided to write up some lore about the different groups of people that live there. Here is what I have so far:
The Plith'mon: Primarily a group of humans, elves, and half-elves, the Plith'mon can be distinguished by their white hair and the white ring with a red stone each wears on his or her right index finger. To become Plith'mon, one must be able to pass certain physical and martial tests. Children born to the Plith'mon must pass these tests to be a full member of the village, but if they fail they are still allowed to live among the Plith'mon, with their families. Outsiders who fail the tests are barred from ever returning.
The Oirsenfiljakki: When the dwarves left the Frigid North, a small number stayed behind. The Oirsenfiljakki, or the Akki, as they are sometimes known, are those remnants. They still live in the ancient cities of the dwarves, rarely leaving their homes.
The Maruz Pilaunicja: Originally a group of orcs that journeyed north, the Maruz Pilaunicja is now made up of persons from many species, though the majority are still orcs. The Maruz Pilaunicja are best known for occasionally hunting Frost Drakes, and succeeding.
The Adarcreote: Little is known about where these shaggy-furred minotaurs came from, but they have been in the Frigid North longer than anyone besides the Oirsenfiljakki and the Frost Giants.
Frost Giants: Even among those who live in the Frigid North, sightings of Frost Giants are very rare. They are believed to live farther north, in climates that almost no other beings can survive. Those who have seen them tell tales of frightening creatures dozens of feet tall, with Frost Drakes as pets.
Since I know a lot of you will miss this otherwise, I'm going to tag the people who have a personal interest in the Frigid North: Therandomtacostand ,Mike16Ike19 , Winn the Great
