"Well, that's more than I've got. We're going to get you equipped." He motioned to the other check-in guy. "He's about to go get that other recruit geared up, you'll join them."
Thank you. I walk over to "the other check-in guy" and wait.
OOC: Trying to get my character profile set up.
He nods. "You coming to the armory with us?" He goes ahead and starts moving off, leading you and Lucas towards the back.
In Santa Fe Springs California, in a run-down, edge-of-town location, there sits this warehouse. It was previously used for storing mattresses, but was abandoned, and later purchased on the fly by Craig Security. Craig Security is run and owned by Craig Lestings, the business previously was in charge of security measures for many of facilities in the area, but he has since pulled back into himself to form a team to respond to the arising crisis with the loose dinosaurs. While his own team is already fairly sizable, he also opened up applications for more members in hopes of getting some new recruits to bolster their numbers, and also in hopes of possibly attracting some people with previous dinosaur experience, and other valuable skills.
The warehouse itself has been deeply fortified, with makeshift walkways around the roof, hurriedly poured concrete walls surrounding the perimeter, and even a machine gun mounted on a small tower.
The interior is mainly one humongous room, but along the edge are ranged smaller rooms.
Check-in is at the main door. You are not admitted in until you have registered and received a badge. No one gets in without the badge.
IC: *Two men on motorcycles drive up. They get off and go up to the main door.* "We're here for the 'job' . How much does it pay?"
"When one is told to write his will before coming, being prepared is important. My name is Emilio Johnson, amigo." Emilio said.
"Ah, yes, that would have been the boss being dramatic." The guy rolled his eyes. "Then again, it's not a bad idea. Have one for the files?" He quickly started typing some information out. "You good with that shotgun?"

"Yeah, exactly like that. Ever heard of Isla Nublar? Well, welcome to Isla America, it's all one big park now."
"That sounds dangerous. How do they keep an eye on all of them?"
The guy snorts. "Man, I wish we had eyes on all of them right now. We have no clue where most of them are, and that includes pretty much all the dangerous ones."

The guard at the door sighs deeply. "Well, I haven't seen squat yet as far as pay goes, but we've been told we'll be well compensated. Craig's a man of his word, but he's pretty swamped right now. For right now it's room, board, and free use of some of the best gear in the world."
"Ah, yes, that would have been the boss being dramatic." The guy rolled his eyes. "Then again, it's not a bad idea. Have one for the files?" He quickly started typing some information out. "You good with that shotgun?"
"Sî." Emilio replied.
"Ah, we'll mark you down as a 'commando.'" The man decides. "Well, for the work here you're going to need a non-lethal as well, so we're going to have you chase down the duo over there with my fellow check-in guy." He points to Lucas and Andrew.
OOC: fastestbrickalive is currently on vacation, he'll be back around the 27th. For now, his character will be following yours and Emilio, who is likely joining up with you soon.
He nods. "You coming to the armory with us?" He goes ahead and starts moving off, leading you and Lucas towards the back.
OOC: Cool! Looking forward to seeing it up!
"Yes I am." I follow you back.
The guy opens a door in the back wall, and motions them inside. He leaves it propped open, knowing that he likely shall have more people joining their gathering.
The walls are lined with guns, and there are huge crates on the ground full of ammo and larger weapons. Stuns and nets appear to be all stacked on the left, lethals to the right. Noticeably, there are none of those stupid stun sticks that never work ever on dinos.
"For the mission, everybody needs both a lethal and a non. Try and make sure you can carry both comfortably."
"That sounds dangerous. How do they keep an eye on all of them?"
The guy snorts. "Man, I wish we had eyes on all of them right now. We have no clue where most of them are, and that includes pretty much all the dangerous ones."
"What are you doing about that? You are doing something, right?"
