I mean, they already CONpletely changed what type of dragon Toothless was, if they changed the main character's name, it wasn't really gonna be based on the books at all by that point.

Fun fact: His full title from the books was "Hiccup the Horrendous Haddock the Third."

What's that supposed to mean. XD Interesting...

Is that the guy that was super unlucky who wrote the book of dragons?
