*Pac-Man deflects the barrage once again, saving him from a KO. The attacking ships are again blasted by their own ammo. Sonic easily dodges the incoming attacks, and begins systematically destroying ships and troops in a pattern that makes setting up new barrages very difficult.*
*Several light jets resort to kamikazing Pac-Man and the area around him, avoiding his deflections and exploding right on him. They do the same to Sonic’s positions and the area around him, dealing great damage.*
*Pac-Man Power Pellets again, destroying the ships before they have a chance to do damage, and again dealing immense damage to the Red Guard's numbers. Sonic remains untouchable, swiftly running out of the blast radius and causing the losses to be for naught. The attack patterns continue to be more systematic, making barrages nigh-impossible and any kamikazing ship is destroyed before it can do damage.*
