Well, it depends on the situation. In terms of tasting food, yes, I trust my taste buds because that is exactly their job: to taste food. Then, they send the signals to my mind as to whether the food is good or not. But, if I were to be solving an algebra problem, then no, I think my mind would be better suited for the task than my taste buds.
