They're the reason programmers quit programming. Have you ever had syntax errors and console warnings flash through your nightmares?
I've had the equivalent for my profession. Sometimes when I'm half-asleep I'll have customers. (I'm a cashier) Then I'll remember that I'm in bed and I don't have to worry about them.
(yes, the thought in mind is "I don't have to worry about them" and not "they aren't actually there" )

No, I mainly have nightmares about competition deadlines and unfinished commissions. But I trust you have been visited by such horrors?
Yeah, except I haven't dreamed about competition deadlines much.. or unfinished commissions. Unfinished homework is a big fear. How much do you make on those commissions?

I found that worry often times is quite illogical. There's obviously things that you should be worried about, and thus take action to make sure doesn't happen, or whatever, but then there's worry about things that won't happen or aren't happening, so yeah.

I'm not being literal with the word "worry" in this instance. "Concern" might be more accurate.

Unfinished homework is basically the same as an unfinished, unpaid commission.
Er, well, I'd say, er... nothing. At the moment, anyway.

Yeah, except you're doing homework for your school, while commissions are for someone else, unless you're doing a commission for your school.
Well, I'm sure your commissions are of great quality, so you definitely deserve some payment.

Okay, I guess. My original statement has lost its humor at this point.
