It's not waiting with will and restraint, but rather I haven't anything ready to publish. I really want to have something exceptionally good and not just push the first scrapes of a beginning harvest. I just hope it develops well enough.
I tended to be a poor essay writer in school. I'm sure that you have succeeded more than I, as you're certainly more coherent in your structure. My overall paragraph structure was choppy (as you can probably see here) and I was a very miserly with my efforts, I only wanted to get it over with. Still, I enjoy a good essay. Ralph Waldo Emerson's essays are a favorite of mine.
Well, inflexibility is poor for a group/pack. That makes a leader brittle and prone to mistakes. Often the beta (second after alpha) wolf may swoop in and take control if the alpha doesn't correct the problems in itself.
Hmm, probably a good plan. I still think it shows at least perseverance and patience then. : D I hope for you as well that it does, I feel like it will.
Oh dear, I'm sorry. Probably. My only weakness is my overachievment drive. /Example\ Teacher: Submit a essay on this subject, minimum requirement 100 words. Me: *turns in two pages* Hehheh, sorry bout dat. I think it's because you don't necessarily always think in the three orders (if that make any sense). I can understand that. I'm trying to think if I've ever read any of his works. *-)
Exactly, I've seen that wreck things many times. On top of that, an alpha that is only harsh and not flexible or tolerant breeds fear in the ranks. And when the pack members fear, there is really no stong pack sense which means that the moment the alpha shows weakness they remove him. Simply because a pack cannot function without trust, and safety, and loyalty. An alpha must keep order, which may involve some fear and punishment, but they must also protect.
I keep hearing of those who over-achieve. Too often it is because the confines of their education are tailored for the masses, rather than the individual. An essay made to be short and easy to compose, while there are the "over-achievers" who's writing abilities exceed that of the tasks they are given. Then there are those who are driven by social media related careers. Youtube is infamous for having creators who pump-out videos at a painful rate. So is it really over achievement if the bar is either too low for an above average student or someone who's driven by social media? To achieve is to "attain the chief end". To over-achieve reminds me of the "Uber-man", or "Over-man" as best translated. I know that the term "over-achieve" is used as a negative term, and there really are those who suffer from being pushed or pushing themselves too hard, but the word "over-achieve" still leaves me feeling that it is misused.
Fear, punishment, protection. These are all things that richly explained and commented on in Machiavelli's "The Prince" (you might have heard of it). He famously said "it is better to be feared than loved, if one cannot be both". Of course he is speaking politically for the attainment of power and to say that someone uses Machiavelli's methods is to cast a shadow across their character. He does write of making others respect a king, and to do so a king must provide for the good of the people (or pack) to earn his place of power.

Sounds right to me. That's a very interesting way to look at it, I hadn't though of it that way before. I think for me it's probably a negative thing, I am my own worst enemy at times. XD But there are also times I overachieve simply because it's something I do easily.
I don't think I have. I wouldn't agree with his quote though. Though I think there is such a thing as healthy fear. Respect is a good thing though, and it must be maintained otherwise others will walk all over you.
I've heard the rest of them are junk, I am inclined to believe it. Though Captain Jack seems almost iconic enough to carry it for another two films before it'd get old...
I didn't hear they were junk, just that there was lots of voodoo.
How's it CONing along? *glances over shoulder* Oh, y'know, they're evacuating MO, right now, apocalypse and all. I was poking it with a stick. ....a black desk lamp?
I'm still CONfused on whether you wrote this or if you copied it off the internet.
Okay I suppose, I kinda stopped partway on em. Right right. That explains a lot. That is very very ironic and crazy for good reasons! XD
Well now you can check since I finished.
Finish them now, don't let them live out their lives in anticipation! It's not the most-infested state, but it made top 5.
