I am so ready!!! Unfortunately, I won't be able to see it opening weekend but perhaps during the following week, I don't know. For the first time in my life, I forced myself to not watch a trailer for a movie I'm anticipating when the final one came out last month. I felt they'd already revealed too much, and the best part of these movies is experiencing the cool dino action without knowing about certain set-pieces beforehand.

New trailer? *goes to spoil movie for himself*
Woops. It was actually after seeing the trailer for that trailer that I decided they'd shown too much and spent a whole week preparing myself to not watch it. It was really hard to make that choice, but I feel like for this franchise more than any other, it's the right choice to make. Star Wars has shown itself to be trustworthy with trailers, Jurassic World has not. And for the sake of the wonder and terror that should come from these movies remaining undiluted from previous exposure to awesome scenes, I'm going to try as hard as I can to spend 3 years gearing myself up to attempt to not watch any JW3 trailers when they start coming in. I have a weak history when it comes to trailer resistance, but this one success has boosted my morale a bit.
