So I've heard. It's definitely on my (rather long) list of movies I want to get around to watching. First is the MCU, though. It's such a big deal and I'm still way behind on it.
Sorry z-whales. I throw my secondary support into whoever you support.
I guess you haven't seen Star Wars, which is arguably John Williams's greatest work (definitely his most expansive). However, I'm sure you're familiar with much of his music, including some from SW (impossible to escape), but also, of course, the majestic, gorgeous, breathtakingly beautiful Theme From Jurassic Park.
Also, I know you're a fan of LotR. That soundtrack (by Howard Shore) is the absolute peak of musical achievement in the film industry. (That's not even an exaggeration, it's so layered and detailed that you can actually study it and get a lot out of it.)

TDK Trilogy transcends superhero movies. They are all brilliant pieces of cinema that anyone should watch. Better than the entire MCU. Better than any MARVEL movie. Better than any superhero movie. Better than most regular movies.

He is by far the best theme song guy, but for full movie soundtrack, well, I dunno.
He's good, but I've never managed to enjoy an entire movie soundtrack from anybody but Hans.

So I've heard, and I do want to watch it. It's just that I've already started the MCU and I'm trying to get at least close to caught up with that before I worry too much about seeing other movies.

Have you ever listened to the full soundtrack of The Lord of the Rings? They're called the Complete Recordings, look 'em up. They have every note of music you hear in the films and there's never a dull moment.
