Seems the director of the movie confirmed it was actually made in 1995 and unreleased until now.
Why can’t they just do something?
Well, that would explain how they actually got Thomas to do something; I guess they are still lazy.
Well, they could be working extra hard with all kinds of new technology to give us fans the best Daft Punk experience we could imagine! Or they could just be sitting around being lazy, using their money from "Get Lucky."
Also, I was listening to "Steam Machine" just a minute ago and I only just released the hissing noises were a guy saying "steam machine."

Remember, the boys don't need to give us music, which is something fans tend to forget.
On the bright side, Sangria and the album are back on Spotify.
I've never tried listening to two songs on top of each other.
Not sure if I go the right version, but I am trying "Cut My Hair" right now. I like it.
I mean that if the music you are currently listening to isn't interesting, switch to something else. I was referring to your comment "It just didn't get me involved, whenever you're listening to music and still thinking "man, I should put on some music," you know you're in the wrong genre." It's totally true. If I'm listening to something and it's so boring I open another tab without thinking to "play some music", then I know it's time to quit the first tab and listen to something that I can actually enjoy. Sorry for the fact that I was unclear.
I don't think there are any other "Cut my Hair" songs, so I'll guess that it's the same one. I really enjoy the mix of ukulele, wafer-thin yet pronounced bass, and slightly auto-tuned voice. It all combines to form a really unique kind of melancholy. It's not my usual genre, but this song-remix really stands out for me.
Ah, I getchya now. It'd be interesting to try and listen to ambiance along with something with more engaging at the same time, though.
Does anybody actually? They are unparalleled. I could spend a couple hours watching their commercials.
I guess some people do; otherwise they wouldn't have sufficient funds to make such good ads. I can imagine if I worked for them. Me: "It's an insurance company. Let's crush a car with a boulder, making people want to buy from us!" Producers: "That's pretty expensive and probably not the best idea for us to-" Me: "I WANNA FILM US CRUSHING A CAR"
Being in the commercial industry would be rough. I feel like I'd have a hard time watching my own stuff with a straight face.

It's got a super-intriguing beat.
Layering different music with "ambient" does sound interesting. I guess if it was a success it would mix the best of both and feel like a two-toned blanket, cool and soft, yet heavy with the presences of the fabric and the "full" feeling off being totally wrapped and covered.
I can't seem to find many things like it though. Do you know of any such pieces? I know the "genes" that it falls into, but nothing seems to match.

It is unclear, you're excused.
hahah silly boy Yeah, they're pretty free to do what they want. Although if you're not gonna make music for six years you could at least call it a hiatus or announce you're done.

I would love to make advertisements, though - I think it'd be fun to test how amusing I can be without being too annoying about the product I'm advertising. It's like a comedy routine where somebody gives you your topic.
