Well, predominantly, album rock, adult standard, anime score, and Japanese pop music.
You’re the 2nd person I met from the LMB community that understands.
I know of anime score and Japanese pop, neither of which I particularly enjoy, although I might find something in J-pop. I'm really a down tempo kind of guy. Cathartic music really. "No Rain, No Rainbow" by BabyMetal takes my attention, although it's really not my genre.
Now what is "album rock"? It's boggling me as not to know.
Ichigo is more interesting, and the anime dropped like a stone have-way through. I never even finished it
Interesting. I like a lot of energetic stuff, no matter the genre (except metal) kinda. And a bit of calmer stuff too.
Old rock music. Like The Beatles, The Who, etc.
Ichigo was a bit more 3-dimensional, but Zero-Two best girl. The writing may have taken a dip, but I enjoyed it until the end.

I tend towards some energetic music, but that's usually when I'm the mood for "air-conducting". :P Really I find the greatest amount of diversity in classical music. Maybe that's why I like it so much.
When I tend to go for more energetic genres, I hear a random song or something, write it down, listen to it later and enjoy it. Then I think "this would make a good alarm to wake-up to, or perhaps running to", but then I tend to play it late at night and get pumped-up then. It's a terrible cycle...
I used to listen a lot to the soundtrack for Iridion II, a classic side-scrolling spaceship shooting game. It was a favorite when I was much younger, and is a treat to return to once in a while. "Good to Feel" and "See the Sun Burn" were a couple of my favorites.
I thought it might be referring to old rock, but I really wasn't sure what it meant. There was a time, a "golden age" for rock between the 60s-70s, but there's good stuff outside of those decades too.
Got any good recommendations for energetic music? Right now by newer playlists are "catch fire" by Jenix and "Sing me to sleep (Marshmallow remix)".

Okay
I like a bit of classical now and again.
Probably not how to listen to energetic music.
Haven’t heard of that game let alone it’s soundtrack. I may just listen to it.
60s-70s had the best rock.
Probably not your thing, but some Eurobeat is bound to get you pumped up to drive at immense speeds and drift all over the road

Classical is certainly nice, but sometimes I find the likes of Mozart a little boring. Have you ever heard of Prokofiev? He was a Russian composer with a skill for piano and dissonance in perfect amounts. His piano concerto no. 2 is a great work of gigantic violence mixed with grief. It's one of my favorite pieces and really soars. The first movement's solo is especially wonderful and a favorite to air-conduct. :P
Thinking of the game certainly takes me back, it was a favorite of mine.
Might you recommend some good tracks? I've heard of Eurobeats, but haven't listened to much. There was a story in the paper about a week ago, describing a racing-track/driving/course where you could rent a Porsche or whatnot and drive as wildly as you wanted (with a trainer in the car). It sounds like something I might put on my bucket list
I see you've changed your avatar again. Isn't that the girl from Asterisk Wars? I think you enjoy pink hair :P

I have heard of Profokiev but haven’t really listened to him. I mainly listen to the stuff from 2001: A Space Odyssey like the Blue Danube, etc.
Well, Running In The 90s by Max Coveri, Deja Vu by Dave Rodgers, Don’t Stop The Music by Lou Grant, Gas Gas Gas by Manuel are good to start. If I could drive I’d totally do that.
Yes, indeed it is. I can tell we are going to get along well. It would seem I do. It was either her or someone from Steins;Gate.

Hmm, I like classical music with some fire in it. I saw 2001: A Space Odyssey once or twice. Strange movie, was a novel too I think. It did use the Blue Danube and now is famous for it. Strange how the music represented... technology was it? Evolution? It's been years since I've seen the movie.
Thanks, I'll check those recommendations out. It seems like the site I'm using is recommending some good recommendation base in the sidebar too. You don't drive as of yet? That might be a good thing, considering how expensive it can and riding is becoming rather popular
Get along well? Time will tell :P A Steins;Gate Character? No pink hair there. Certainly not Luka

I’ve seen it twice. It was a novel, written around the same time. Was also pretty strange, but when you look at it deeply it was masterful in execution. I’m not entirely sure what the music was supposed to represent, if anything.
What site are you using? No, not yet. True, very true.
I want to say that’s why I didn’t go for Okabe or Makise. Careful now, I’ve only seen S1.

Well, I'm rather sure that the music did try to mean something. Movie Scores always try to help the audience or stir up emotion. To use really old music, graceful music, some might say antiquated music to shots of mankind in space. It's up to interpretation I suppose.
I'n just using Youtube. The recommendations are okay and clearer when cookies are removed.
Exactly, no hair color of your preference. There's a saying about how you might tell me what you find attractive, and I'll tell you your philosophy. :P no spoilers here.
